Were you ever in a situation where you feel like you're going to have a cardiac arrest just by looking at someone?
Because, today, I clearly am going to.
I bit my lip trying really hard to concentrate on my laptop screen and not on the boy who was shirtless and doing push ups right before my innocent eyes.
"41...42...43..." Kyle counted breathlessly. His shirtless, toned body was steering some sort of tingles in my body.
I blew out a slow breath trying to keep my mind on track and not to wander to some forbidden desires.
I tried to not let his half nakedness bother me but sadly, It bothers me, alot.
"Can you do this somewhere else?" I said trying to show my annoyance and irritation.
"50...5-" Kyle stopped mid way and raised his head to look at me. He smirked arrogantly before pulling himself up in a sitting position, sitting crossed legged on the cold floor.
"Why? Is this bothering you, Rose?" Kyle pointed at his shirtless body.
"Yes, it is." I harshly snapped but when I saw his smug face and realised what I had actually confessed, my whole form grew rigid like a cardboard.
Darn, what are you saying?
Why don't you just write it in bold letters you are enjoying the little show he is giving you?
I rolled my eyes at my own thoughts.
"I mean, it is distracting because I can't watch this in peace." I tried to correct myself, pointing at my laptop screen to prove my point.
"Then keep your eyes on the screen and ears on what they are saying, not on me." Kyle winked, giving me a charming smile.
"I was not staring at you. You were counting so loudly and it distracted me." I denied quickly.
"Really? You have your earpiece on and you can still hear me even when I was mumbling to myself." He retorted sarcastically with a roll of his eyes.
"You weren't mumbling. I was able hear you loud and clear." I muttered.
He was right. He was mumbling to himself but I was able to hear him because I was watching the movie on mute.
Kill me for wanting to hear his uneven breathing which sounded so hot and stare at his naked chest all day, but when you have such a great view in front of your eyes you can't resist to watch it.
A light chuckle resonated in the room and I saw Kyle standing up. He walked towards his bed where he had a towel and his clothes set out.
He grabbed whatever was on his bed and turned around to walk towards the bathroom but the loud blaring of his ringtone stopped him in his tracks.
He grabbed the phone from his bedside table and answered it. "What do you want?" He asked to whoever the caller was with a roll of his eyes.
He listened to whatever the caller was saying then he said, "I am busy?" It was more like a question than an answer. He glanced at me once before looking elsewhere.
He snorted at something the caller said. "I wanna see how long you both last without them."
I pretended like I was not listening in to his conversation by keeping my eyes on the laptop screen which was securely placed on top of my lap.
"Okay, I will be there." Kyle hung up after that.
There was pin drop silence and I felt his eyes on me but I kept my eyes solely on the screen before me and not at the distracting boy in the room.
