Rosie's Pov
I kissed Kyle for one last time before he sneak out of my dorm room and ran towards the stairs but on his way Marine, a girl occupying the dorm room opposite of mine bumped into him.
Kyle steadied her before taking a step back and smiling at her awkwardly.
"What the..." She looked lost for words as she stared at Kyle in shock.
Kyle scratched his head awkwardly and turned around to look at me. I was half way out of my door, watching him leave when Marine popped out of nowhere.
Marine saw me and then at Kyle before her face changed to one of realisation. She let out an amused laugh and step sided, making a way for him to walk by.
Kyle ran away stealthily but not before waving at me one last time and a grateful smile at Marine.
"Thanks." I called out to Marine who was getting into her room.
"No problem." She sent a wink my way before disappearing into her room.
Smiling at myself, I walked back in and closed the door softly.
Kyle's surprise visit to my room wasn't sudden. It was all planned by Hansita as Kyle admitted.
Let him in. Her departing words struck on my mind and I chuckled finally understanding their meaning.
I was at ease, talking with Kyle and resolving the growing issue between us gave me a sense of security and peace.
I knew now that Sasha wouldn't be a threat to Kyle and me. Kyle promised me his loyalty and i did the same.
I learnt that Sasha and Kyle knew each other since high school, though they were from different schools. Their parents knew each other and that was how Kyle and Sasha met.
He knew about Sasha's infatuation with him and he had no reasons to deny her advances towards him so he accepted it with open arms.
They continued their fling without any tag to their relationship but Sasha had her claim over him and when he knew about her actions behind his back, like threatening other girls if he ever so talk with them, he broke ties with her.
Yet she followed him everywhere and even went to the extent of joining the same college as his.
This was the complete story, he told me. No lies, only the truth and I believe him.
I forgave him.
The door to my dorm room squeaked opened and in walked Hansita with a knowing grin on her face. I smiled at the sight of her as she made her way further in the room. She took a seat on her bed and faced me.
"So..." She drawled out and waited for me to say something.
Her face was glowing with some unknown emotion. A radiant glow on her face and her smile sparkly.
"We sorted out everything." I smiled at her in gratitude and thanked her in all earnestly.
If she didn't think of this, I don't know when I would have mustered up the courage to speak with Kyle again.
Hansita waved it off and said. "I am so happy for you. Both of you." She squealed leaving her bed and lunging towards me to engulf me in a warm, tight hug.
She was too happy.
"What is it?" I asked as soon as she pulled back.
Her eyes registered surprise in them at my blatant question. "What?" She chuckled trying to cover up.
