Love is a four letter word
Yet why is it so hard to say
Why don't we just scream it to everyone we meet
Why are we so selective
On who gets to hear it outloud
Yet when we mostly meant it
We never let it out
And it falls to silent ears
Instead we say other meaningless phrases
Afraid to commit to a word
But then again
How much power do the letters l~o~v~e hold?
