I remember your golden blonde hair
The tears you cried while away from your parents
When you spoke of the world in a different tone
You had cared
Now your hair is brown
Your parents tie you down to keep you home
Afraid where you may be each and every night
You do not care
I fight for your name
A name that is swollen with lies and gossip
I watch as your world crumbles around you
Caused by you stomping your own feet on the ground
And then you look to others, wondering who shook your universe
