Life Changes

Chapter 1

Leonardo's P.O.V.

    "Come out, come out, wherever you are!"

    I yell trying to see where everyone is.

    We were all playing hide and seek. Everyone decided that since I was the leader that I should be it first. I agreed to it but wasn't happy about it.

    I heard voices and giggling in the broom closet. So I decided to check that out. but once I open the door I soon regret that decision. Amoly and Mikey were making out in there when we are supposed to be playing hide and seed. I close the door. Wanting that vision to get out of my head, but with no luck.  

    After that I choose to look somewhere else. I went upstairs. I saw Raph's door open. I didn't want to look but there was no other option if I wanted to find someone so they can be it. Right as I look in I immediately turn around and head somewhere else. Raph and Larota were making out as well.  

    I thought if they were making out so was Donnie and Talena. So in other words, I had only one person to look for. My girl Venus.

    "Venus! Where are you!"

    Soon after I said that I heard someone giggle. I would know that giggle from anywhere.

    I head towards the dojo where I heard the giggle and check it out.

    "I know you're in here! So be a good girl and come out!"

    I look around. Examining every spot that I can see. I listen for any movement. As soon as I look to the dojo doorway someone jumps on top of me. I hit the ground hard as someone is on my shell.

    "I thought you were good at this game?"

    Venus says as she just stays on my shell crossing her arms.

    "Well the point is for me to find you. Not the other way around."

    "Oh well."

    We both laugh as she gets off my shell and helps me up. I grab her by the waist and bring her in for a kiss. She giggles once more then walks off. I follow her. She walks into the living room where everyone else is sitting on the couch. Even master Splinter.

    "Well, well, well, look who finally decided to show."

    Raph says as he has his arm around Larota's shoulder.

    "Well, if you were paying attention to the game and not your hormones you would of noticed when I found you guys."

    Donnie and Talena both got tense.

    "You f-found us?!"

    They were both blushing. I didn't know why but didn't care either.

    "I didn't look for you guys after seeing two couples making out. I just decided to look for V."

    Both Don and Talena sigh in relief. What did they do while I was looking for everyone?

    My thoughts were interrupted by Splinter clearing his throat. I looked to him and nodded.

    "My son, sit next to me. I have something I want to talk to all of you about."

    I sit next to him and Venus next to me. We wait for what Splinter has to say.
 
    "My sons, girls, I want you all to take a break from the sewers and go to the abandoned house. The one that April took all of you when the shredder had me."

    "But Sensi, who will take care of you and who will help train us?"

    I ask. Concerned for our Master and father.

    "I will stay at April's. She has already agreed to it. The training can wait. You all need a vacation from all of this stress. You have fought off the foot so much."

    "Masta', Who will keep them under control if we are gone?"

    "Fear not Raphael, both Casey and I will take care of that. Do not worry about anything. I will take care of any concerns you have and April's and Casey will help me with anything I need."

    "Alright, a vacation does sound fun."

    Amoly says getting really excited. We all look at her and start talking about when to leave, what we need, and for how long.

    Splinter stands and puts his hands behind his back and begins to walk to his room.

    "May I speak with you my sons. Alone."

    Raph, Don, Mikey and I all stand and follow splinter. Once we reach his room we kneel in front of him in a line.

    "Are you for sure my sons that you want to take the next step into a new life?"

    "Yes Sensi."

    We all say at the same time. Splinter smiles and puts a hand on mine and Raph's shoulder.

    "I believe you. You must get the courage to ask them the question. If you wait too long they will begin to think you do not care for them. Do not hesitate when the right moment comes. Understand my sons?"

    "Yes Sensi."

    "Good, now expect to welcome future daughters in law not your girlfriends. You may go."

    All three of my brothers leave. I stay behind to ask Splinter something. I may be a leader, but I still have my fears and this is one of them.

    "What is it Leonardo."

    "Sensi, how would I know what to say? How would I know she will accept me even after knowing what I did?"

    He laughs before putting his hand on my shoulder once more.

    "Do not worry my son. I believe she will accept you no matter what."

    "Thank you Sensi."

    With that I bow my head then leave. I couldn't help but wonder what Venuses reaction will be when I ask her 'will you marry me.'
