Chapter 26

Donnie's P.O.V.

"Donnie...."

Is all I hear from Talley before I hear her drop to the ground. I turn around. I see her passed out on the ground.

"Talena!"

I fight off the foot solider in front of me before rushing to her side. I check her vital signs. It's normal. I check her pupils and they are normal as well.

"Wake up love. Come on. Please."

I then being to feel light headed. I begin to feel a sting in my arm. I look and see a tranquilizer dart.

"No."

I try to stay awake but the serum takes affect. I black out landing next to Talley.

I then wake up with a head ache. I could hear Raph banging on the door.

"Raph."

He keeps hitting the door. Yelling to let us out.

"Raph!"

He stops. Instantly coming to my side.

"Donnie! Are you alright?"

"Yeah I think so. Where's Talley?"

I look around to find her. Just then the door open and she's thrown in with cuts and bruises. I run to her side and hold her in my arms.

"Donnie?"

"Don't worry love. I'm right here. I'm right here."

The door then closes. I hold Talley close to me. She wraps her arms around me as well. I kiss her head.

"Donnie..."

Was all she said. I held her and rocked back and forth. She was in my lap. Slowly falling asleep. I could tell by the way her body was relaxing in my arms. She was almost asleep when she tenses up and behind to whimper. I look at her to see her hold her stomach.

"What hurts love?"

"Donnie, I need to tell you something."

"What is it?"

She whimpers again before answering. She looks at me and our eyes lock.

"I...I'm pregnant."

I gasp. She was pregnant. With my child and we are in a cell. That's not good at all if she's hurting like that.

"Great! Now we have to worry about more than just getting out of here!"

Raph yells as he leans against the door. I give him a glare. This couldn't be helped.

She then whimpers again drawing my attention back to her. I put a hand over hers.

"What did they do to you love?"

"They just beat me up. It was probably all the tossing and force that caused it. My shell should protect the baby."

"Talley. Even though the shell is a way of protection, it can't protect everything. There could be something wrong with the baby if your stomach is hurting like that."

I hear Raph growl. It wasn't at us. I look up at the door to see it opening. Karai then walks in.

"Donatello. Please come with me."

I look at Raph before setting Talley off my lap.

"Donnie-"

"It's okay love. I'll be back. I promise."

I kiss her head before one of the foot soldiers cuff my hands and push me to the hallway. I'm totally in deep trouble.

We then walk to what looks like a dojo. One of the soldiers then uncuff me. I am then forced to kneel down. Heavy foot steps are heard behind me. A deep breath is taken. I hear metal against metal. Only one person sounds like that and wears metal.

"Still trying to protect yourself boy."

The shredder.

"I'm not a boy...shredder."

I stay in the position I'm in. I don't look at him. I look at the ground.

"Why must you fight against me? I'm tired of playing games. Join me Donatello. You are meant for greater things than what you are doing now. Your brothers don't see what I see. But I think I know someone who does."

He kneels in front of me. I try not let his words hit me or have any affect.

"Bring her in."

I instantly turned around and saw them bring Talley in. Her cuts and bruises patched up.

"Donnie!"

They release her. She runs into my arms. I hold her close. Glaring at the people behind her.

"How wonderful. You all have found the perfect match. Only problem is that you need to protect them and your skills aren't good enough. Join me and no harm will come to her Donatello. I promise."

I growl at the shredder. He was threatening to hurt her and her sisters. I wasn't going to let that happen. I had no other choice. Then a plan came to mind. It was stupid but hopefully it got us out of here.

"You promise if I join you none of them will get hurt. Especially Talena."

"Yes. You have my word."

Talena pulls away and cups my fave with her hands. Tears flowing down. I held her face in mine as well.

"Donnie, don't. He never keeps his word. You know that. Donnie..."

"I don't have a choice."

"Well! What's your decision?!"

I look at the shredder. I stand grasping onto Talley's hand. She does the same. I take a deep breath and glare at the shredder.

"You have a deal."
