Michelangelo's P.O.V.

It took forever to get back. I would ask how much longer and they would always say "not much longer." Amoly would ask too. She would get the same response.

When we got into New York we get down. All except Leo. Only because he was driving. Every now and then I would take a peak out the window to see how much further.

I know New York like the back of my hand. I drive it all the time. As well as patrol with my brothers. I know where we are all the time.

When we finally get to the alley where we hide the van we get out. We grab our stuff and head to the sewers where home is.

"Race you to the lair Am's!"

I begin to run with Amoly close behind.

"Your gonna lose!"

"Not this time baby!"

We reach the lair. We go to our room and begin to put everything away. Amoly suddenly stops when we hear a door slam.

"I'll be right back okay."

"Alright."

She leaves. I begin to notice how filthy my room was. I didn't clean this before we left why? I rolled my eyes. Soon I'm cleaning my room. Picking up all of my junk. I spot a comic book that I used to read all the time.

"Sewer monsters? I haven't seen this since I was sixteen!"

I set it on my bed. Dying to read it later. I pick up more comics and vhs tapes. All of them are thing my brothers and I would eat and watch all the time. I missed those times. Soon though, I'll be doing stuff like that with kids. Not just any kids, my kids. Teaching them the secrets to living this way. I was getting excited just by thinking about it.

My room was now completely cleaned. All except the comic books that were on my bed. I set those on my bookshelf with all of my action figures.

"So the nut job finally cleaned his room? Impressive. We would tell you to do that and you would just ignore us."

Raph walked in. I could tell he had a different reason to come in here, but I was just going to go with the conversation.

"I wouldn't ignore you. I just didn't want to do it at the time."

"Right. Hey, Mikey."

"Yeah Raph?"

He sits on my bed and looks at the collection of comic books.

"You excited for a new life? Like, are you excited to get married?"

"Why would- Oh, your scared aren't you?"

He growls at me.

"No I'm not! What makes you think that?"

I sit down next to him. Looking at the comic books.

"Well, you came in here asking if I'm excited. Of course I'm excited! I can't wait! But if your asking me, that means your scared."

He chuckles.

"I guess your right. I'm a big scardy cat, aren't I?"

I patt him on the shoulder.

"Dude, the scared ones are always the best ones. Trust me. I'm scared of you every day."

"So that means your the best? Not likely."

He playfully punches my arm. I do the same. He then gets me in a head lock and gives me a nuggy.

"What's the word?"

"Uncle."

"Louder. I didn't quite hear ya."

"UNCLE!"

He laughs and let's me go. I laugh with him. Amoly walks in with a smile.

"Nice room. I barely even recognize it."

"Hey, it takes a neat person to do what I do."

Amoly laughs. Raph stands up.

"You ain't no neat person Mikey, but you are a cool brother."

He leaves. Amoly comes and sits on my lap. I wrap my arms around her to keep her on. She giggles.

"I bet you won't be able to get that from him ever again."

"That's the thing about Raph. If he means it he only says it once. When he teases me, I know he is. Only because he repeats himself."

"That almost sounds like Lara."

I pull her in for a kiss. She kisses back. Man how I love being a turtle.
