Life Changes

Chapter 18

Venus's P.O.V.

    "Come on Leo. Afraid you might hurt me?"

    I says as Leo attacks me with his swords. My block with my fan blades.

    "No, just trying to be fair."

    He swipes my legs out from under me. I fall with a loud thud. He chuckles at my face of surprise. I then do flips trying to kick his swords out of his hand. I miss. I then throw my blades at him. He blocks them from hitting him with his swords.

    "What happened to me always winning?"

    "That was when I wasn't in the best of shape. All of those times of us training was just a warm up."

    I throw a punch. He dodges each one I throw. He then grabs my hand after I throw a punch. He pulls me close to him and kisses me. I kiss back. When he pulls back he sighs. He becomes scared of something that I don't seem to know about. I put my hand on his cheek becoming worried. 

    "What's wrong Leo?''

    "It's nothing. Lets go meditate."

    We move towards a tree that's in front of the house. The leaves move in the wind. Making a soothing sound to enter my ears. I close my eyes and enjoy the breeze. I then hear the front door open to the house. I look to see who had walked out. I then see Raph. He seems to be worried about something as well. I wave to him. He just nods.

    "Joining Raph?"

    Leo yells. Leo has been trying to get along better with Raph since they barely agree on anything. They barely even talk. Raph just shakes his head and looks out to the woods. Looking for something. Looking for an answer. I could see it in his eyes what he was searching for. So far, it seemed to not appear to him.

    I sit down next to Leo. I go to grab his hand but its not there. I look at Leo to see him looking at me.

    "I'm serious Leo. What's wrong?"

    "And so am I. Just close your eyes."

    I close my eyes to meditate. After a few moments of silence I feel Leo put something into my hand. I open my eyes to see Leo meditating with his hands on his knees. I look to see what was in my hand. Time seems to stop when I see what it is. A ring box. A blue ring box.

    "Leo."

    I whisper before opening the box. There was a silver band ring with a blue stone. It was breath taking. 

    "Will you marry me Venus?"

    Leo was kneeling in front of me. I smiled widely before nodding. He smiles as well putting the ring on my finger. It was a perfect fit. I hugged him then we shared with a passionate kiss.
