A/N - I'm sorry I took so long to update! Here's a long(er than normal :) ) update for you! :) Pay attention to switching POVs, I didn't mean to do it so often but it can get a little confusing!

Niall's POV

"Madison, nice to meet you. Please have a seat." I gestured to the seat in front of my desk as I returned to my chair. Madison? It couldn't be Harry's Madison, could it?

"Why don't you start by telling me a little bit about yourself?" I leaned back slightly in my chair as I rattled off my normal interview banter.

"Well I currently am working as a bank teller down at Red Forest. I'm currently in a graduate program to get my master's in restaurant management, meaning that by now I should probably already be getting some experience actually working in a restaurant." Madison smiled brightly at me.

"That's a pretty big goal for not having any experience under your belt. Could I take a look at your resume?" I leaned forward, laying my forearms on my desk. Madison quickly pulled a crisp sheet of paper out of her bag.

"It says that you've been working at the bank since 2007; that certainly shows loyalty. But it also means you lack experience. You worked as an inventory taker in 2005..." My eyes scanned the page.

“Mr. Horan, I know that I don’t have any experience in the food service industry but I do have a lot of customer service experience and I am a very eager and quick learner. I’ll do whatever task you like, I’ll work as a dishwasher to start. I would love this job, please, Mr. Horan. Give me a chance?” I could tell by the look in Madison’s eyes that she was genuine.

“I run a very high class restaurant, Ms. Prescott. I don’t normally take anything less than the best of the best. I also usually let the resume do the talking. That being said, you obviously need some experience if you want to be successful in this industry and you better be getting it quick if you’re already on your way to getting a master’s degree. I can tell that you mean what you say. If I offer you this job, Ms. Prescott you will be held to a different degree than my other employees. You’ll have to prove yourself, can you do that?” I hated acting like this, being all bossy. It’s so out of character for me. But I’ve learned that as a boss, I basically have to, or no one ever listens.

“Yes, of course, sir. I most definitely can.” Madison sat forward in her chair as her body tensed.

“Then you’ve got the job. Welcome aboard, Madison.” I stood to shake her hand.

Madison jumped out of her chair. “Thank you, Mr. Horan! I won’t let you down.” A huge smile was plastered on Madison’s face.

“When can you start?” I glanced down at the schedule for this week. “We’d love to have you come in tomorrow.”

“I can start whenever you’d like me to!”

“Great. I’ll email you the tentative schedule for this week and let me know when you’re available. Thank you for coming in, Madison.” I shook her hand once more as I led her towards the door.

“Thank you again, Mr. Horan!” Madison waved before practically skipping out of the building.

Madison… There’s no way that was the Madison, right?

Harry’s POV

I woke up with my body still aching, even after having a rest day yesterday. My body was not recovering easily from going for a run after months of not doing so and working in the restaurant all day. After attempting to stretch some of my muscles out while still lying in bed, I managed to walk to the kitchen. I made a large and elaborate breakfast for myself, both because I knew I had a long day ahead of me and I needed to practice making food of any kind if I wanted to get better at cooking for work. Niall texted me asking if I could work today and told me he’d work on training me in the kitchen because today should be much slower.
