Hey everyone! I finally edited this chapter and I'm in the process of editing the next one.

———

I felt the air whooshing past me. My face stings as the cold air stabs at it and my hair whips around my head as I fall, occasionally hitting me in the face.

A feeling inside tells me that jumping off this cliff won't result in death. Obviously though, this fall would kill anyone. I just hope that this feeling is right because I have so much to live for.

I squeeze my eyes shut and brace myself for impact. The water's bound to be co—I stop falling. I open my eyes and see the blonde woman with the deep voice from earlier.

Actually... now that I see her up close, I notice the slanted blue eyes with the thick black lashes, the angular jaw and the curve of the woman's lips, I feel the hard muscle of her chest and arms... oh dear god. This woman isn't a woman at all!

I look around. We're on the blond's giant exploding bird and we are quickly approaching the top of the cliff where the rest of the Akatsuki members are waiting.

"It appears I fucked up," I say, sighing.

"It appears so," The blond man muses, looking down on me with his crystal blue eyes. I notice the dark bags underneath them. When was the last time he slept?

"Sorry for calling you a woman," I mumble, yawning a little afterwards.

I obviously ruin the mood because his gaze hardens and with a bitter tone he replies, "Apology not accepted."

I feel something make contact with the back of my head and then everything around me is swallowed up by the darkness.

———

I sit up wearily and look around. I appear to be in a large cave with a giant statue. My eyes widen as I study the ugly monster carved from stone. It has big, round eyes and on each of its fingertips stood a person with a familiar black and red coat. The most interesting thing though, was that they were all arguing.

"I say we break the seal now." A certain blonde yelled. I could feel him frowning.

"That would be very unwise, Deidara. If we break the seal now, then we have nothing to bribe her with." The purple haired woman said. Her voice was oddly monotone.

"Whatever." Deidara grumbled.

"Tobi thinks we should let the girl sleep!" A high pitched voice squeaks.

"Shut up, Tobi!" Everyone yells.

"I say we forget about letting her join the Akatsuki and sell her." The masked man from before says.

"Of course that's what you want to do!" The silver man I beheaded yells. "I say you give her to me and I can sacrifice her! You don't know what she did to me!"

"Ugh," The masked man scoffs, rolling his eyes. "And of course that's what you want to do."

"Stay out of this, Kakuzu!" The silver haired man yells. What's with all this yelling?

I watch as they all—except for carrot top, eggplant, sushi, grandpa, and Itachi— bicker back and forth. With an exasperated sigh I alert them of my presence.

"She's awake!" Tobi cries.

"Bingo!" I cry, smirking. I suddenly feel scared as they all look down on me, their cold eyes boring into my own.

"Y/N Sarutobi," Carrot top says, his voice is loud and bounces off the walls. "Do you have any idea why you're here?"

"I think so," I say "Tell me if this sounds okay. Alright, here we go: You kidnaped me because you want me to join your little organization and you're going to get me to join by bribing me with some secret unknown power that is sealed inside me."

"Correct." Eggplant says.

"Well, would you look at that! My parents would be so proud of me." I laugh, sarcasm dripping from my voice.

"Yes, you do have a... power, one that could help us in our mission to bring world peace." Carrot top says.

"What if I don't want to join your little gang? What then?" I ask. I mean, if I have a choice then... well, I don't want to be stuck around these losers.

"You don't have a choice. Either you join or you die. I just thought maybe knowing that we'll give you your powers back might help persuade you." Carrot top tells me. I bite me lip as I think.

If I join the Akatsuki, they'll give me back a power I never knew I had and this will give me the chance to extract me revenge against the Leaf Village, plus I'll be achieving world peace in the process! I smirk, already knowing my answer.

"Alright then, I'll join."
