This morning I woke up early and stumbled into the kitchen where Deidara, Aya, Itachi, Tobi, and Sasuke waited with all their stuff.
"Thanks for waking me up." I snapped angrily before turning around to get ready and grab my stuff.
They waited patiently for me to grab my stuff before we took off. We're leaving Konoha and going out seperate ways when we get to the old cave they used to use. Me and Sasuke have a plan to double cross them and wipe them all out. He takes Itachi and Tobi whilst I take Aya and Deidara.
It was a sunny day with little clouds in the bright blue sky. We quickly made our way out of the hidden leaf and began to run when we were out of sight of the village guards. Thankfully nobody was suspicious of us. As we travelled I found my gaze locked on Deidara and Aya, they were side by side and holding hands. This was pissing me off, pep talk or no pep talk last night. I quickly shook the thoughts out of my head, why should I care? I left them behind a longtime ago and yet I found myself thinking about the base and all the members and I genuinely missed them.
As nighttime neared we stopped at a clearing in the woods to set up camp. We've been traveling for the entire day and Deidara and Aya have been icing each other lovey dovey looks the entire time. Sasuke has been glaring at Itachi, he was eager to kill him but he was hiding it well. Tobi was talking the whole damn time and I was about ready to kill him right here, right now.
I scampered up a giant oak tree that was similar to the one I had slept on during our trip to Konoha. They set up their sleeping bags and started a fire. I didn't go to bed right away since it was just dawn, instead I went and sat down around the fire with Sasuke.
"We'll have to say goodbye soon." I said.
"Yes, we will, un." Sighed Deidara, he had a pitiful look on his face.
"DeiDei!" Aya called, wrapping her arms around Deidar and kissing him on the cheek which made me angry and I mean angry, DeiDei was what I called him.
"Hey, Ay." He murmured, hugging her back.
Sasuke seemed to sense that I was getting pissed off by this and he did the unimaginable. He kissed me right on the mouth and then stood up bud us goodnight but before he left he whispered for me to come lay beside him in the tree. Itachi's, Deidara, Aya's, and Tobi's faces were priceless. I smirked and sauntered over to th tree Sasuke was waiting for me in, thankfully we were concealed by giant droopy branches covered in leaves and moss.
"You owe me and by the way why are you getting so angry?" Sighed Sasuke, crossing his arms.
"Deidara's trying to make me jealous so I'm giving him what he wants. I'm playing his stupid little game." I lied, Sasuke could not know that I was having second thoughts.
"Tch." Smirked Sasuke.
I laid down and closed my eyes and fell asleep.
I woke up to the sound of birds chirping and something burning. . .burning?! My eyes snapped open and I jumped up, ready to defend myself but all I saw was smoke, I coughed and tried to find a clear path but instead I stepped too far backward and plummeted to the ground.
"(F/N)~Chan!" Yelled Tobi, someone caught me in their arms and suddenly I was having déjàvu. Deidara had caught me bridal style and had a worried look plastered on his face.
"What the hell?!" Yelled Deidara, not setting me down.
"Who set the damn forest on fire!" I shouted angrily but not taking my eyes off of Deidara.
"Tobi tried to cook and the smoke blew right into the tree you and Sasuke were in." Sighed Itachi coming over to us.
On the ground everything was clear but up in the sky all you could see was black smoke blocking the sun from view and creating a blanket of shade.
"You can set me down." I felt the heat rising to my face and that surprised me a lot and it seemed to surprise Deidara too because he let me down and walked towards his already packed up sleeping bag.
I looked up and the tree and tried to sense Sasuke's Chakra. I found him — like before — scouting the area and he was fast approaching us, he probably saw the smoke. Soon enough he appeared and just sighed when he saw Tobi standing in front of the fire.
"Two hidden leaf shinobi are near the area and have seen the smoke. They'll come check it out so we should move. Now." Ordered Sasuke, we all nodded and cleaned up the camp before taking off into the woods. It was mid afternoon when we arrived at the collapsed cave.
"This is goodbye." Said Sasuke to me.
"What?" I asked.
He came up and whispered something into my ear.
"You always were a terrible liar, I'll tell him that we were double crossed and they took you captive. I'm giving up a lot for you so don't waste your chance."
Everything went black.
