Three weeks Pain had us grounded. The only good part about being grounded is that DeiDei came to see me everyday and Konan brought me meals. Finally Pain's announced that we're ungrounded and I'm going on my first mission with Sasori with Deidara.
"Hey, DeiDei?" I asked
"Yeah?" He replied
"Where's Sasori?"
"No clue, un."
"Dammit! Why is he making us wait, isn't it against his policy or something?!" I ranted angrily.
"You shouldn't talk about people behind their back." Said a familiar cold voice
"Sasori! My man, what's taking you so long?" Asked Deidara enthusiastically
"I was finishing up a puppet." He said
"Um, Sasori. . . I wasn't talking about you." I said nervously
"Then why did you say my name?" Said Sasori
"Um, I was talking about a different Sasori?" I said it more like a question
Sasori rolled his eyes and we followed him out of the hideout. I noticed that Deidara was standing extremely close to me, my cheeks flared pink as his hand brushed mine.
Do I have feelings for Deidara? I thought
Honestly the thought has never crossed my mind but now that I think about it all the signs are there:The butterflies, the blushing, constant thoughts about him. Sighing I closed my eyes.
"Hey, are you okay?" Asked Deidara
"Hmm? No, I'm fine." I reassured him
His face was full of doubt as he looked away.
I wonder if he feels the same? I asked myself
I doubt it. Why would he like me? I'm an insane witch! Besides we're just friends. I dismissed the thought from my head, I would worry about relationships later.
Our mission was too find out where the one tails is and report back to Pain within one week. We don't have much info but Sasori seems to know where he is going so we've just been following him I guess.
-Later that day-
Sasori led us through a desert, the moment I saw it I knew we were going to Sungakure, the village hidden in the sand.
"How do you know where to go?" I asked Sasori
"Hn." He replied
"Gee thanks. . ." I whispered
I looked up and saw the village hidden in the sand spread out before me. Everything seemed to be made from sand. Now that I think of it isn't Sasori called 'Sasori of the red sand?', I wonder. I'll ask him later.
We walked up to the gates and passed through. Thank god they didn't recognize us. We walked throughout the streets quickly and quietly.

"Deidara. (F/N). You two go talk to the villagers and see what information you can get." Said Sasori
"Yes, un!" Said Deidara enthusiastically
Deidara grabbed my hand and pulled me back in the direction we came, he's holding me hand. . .what do I do? I'll just play it cool. Just friends (F/N). Just. Friends.
"I think I overheard something back here. . ." Said Deidara pulling me gently towards a dark alley.
"Really? This place seems really emp—" I gasped as Deidara yanked me towards him and put a hand over my mouth
"Ssshhh!" He whispered to me
"...Boy is a freaking monster!"
"I know. . ."
"To think he's the Kazekage's son!"
"I heard he wants to become Kazekage!"
"Outrageous!"
"Garra Sands is his name right?"
"Yeah, related to Temari and Kankurō Sands."
"I hear they support him."
"I bet the boy forces them to say that crap."
"Mhm. . ."
Deidara dragged me back through the alley and into the bustling streets. He realeased his hold over my mouth and I gasped, my entire face was red. I think he may have forgotten that he has mouths on those hands of his. Basically he kissed me. . .I felt lightheaded.
"(F/N)? Are you okay?!" Said Deidara
How is it that a boy like you was able to make their way into my heart?
"(F/N)?!" Cried Deidara again
"Did you forget that you have mouths on your hands?!" I whispered covering my red face
"Huh— oh I am so sorry, un!" He yelled
"It's fine. . ." I whispered
"But at least we got the info!" Said Deidara cheerfully
"Yeah." I said
-Later that night-
Knock knock knock
Someone knocked on my bedroom door lightly. I opened my eyes wearily. I was exhausted after our mission. Walking to Sungakure and back was enough to make a person pass out.
I trudged over to the door and opened it, Deidara stood there with no shirt and pyjama pants on. I could feel a nosebleed coming.
"Yeah what is it, Dei?" I asked
He held out his hand to me "Come."
I sighed and took his hand, he dragged me all the way outside and onto the top of the ravine that the Akatsuki hideout was hidden inside of. He sat down and patted the hard ground beside him.
"Sit." He ordered
I nodded and sat beside him. I waited a few moments before I was too tired to sit up straight, I leaned over and laid my head on his shoulder. I felt him stiffen with surprise and then relax and laugh gently.
"Katsu." He murmured
Suddenly the sky was filled with fireworks. Gasping with surprise I looked at Deidara who was looking at me tenderly.
"(F/N). . .I-I think I'm falling for you." He whispered leaning closer to me
My inner self screamed and fainted whilst my outer self tried not to scream and faint as well.
"Well, you should be glad to know that I think I've fallen for you too. . ." I close the space between us and kissed him softly, Deidara didn't try to stick his tongue in my mouth or take advantage of me like most guys would, instead he pulled away smiling and wrapped his arm around me, I laid my head on his lap and listened to the sound of his breathing until I fell asleep.
