I've been deaf for my entire life, I've never heard the sound of my own voice, my mothers voice, none of my bestfriends voices or any music that anybody has ever made.

I mainly spoke in sign language, as did most of my family and some of my friends.

Today is the day, I couldn't really contain myself, I'm finally going to get my hearing fixed. After 24 years it's going to be fixed. My friends and my parents are going to be there with me.

[5 Hours Later]

George, Aron, Danny and I were the first ones to get there. The doctor said that the Cochlear implant isn't going to take long. After 20 minutes my parents, Jordon, Jorel, Matt and Jeff got here.

The doctor called all of us in and I sat down on the chair, he put a small device in my ear and turned it on. I still couldn't hear anything.

After around 1 hour of the doctor changing around the settings I could finally hear, I could hear everything. My parents voices and all of my friends. I started crying, there was just so many emotions.

"Okay Dylan, it's going to take a little time for you to get used to the noises" the doctor said. I nodded my head.

I didn't have to use sign language all the time, only when I wake up or go to sleep. "Dyl, you did it" Danny said to me, his voice was so amazing, so gentle.

I got hugs and cheers from my friends and my parents, this was probably the best day of my life. We all went out for dinner, I finally got to speak without having to be loud or anything.

Everybody else went home except for Danny since we lived together. We walked home, Danny said that we should take our time so I can take in the sounds.

"Hey Dyl I sort of want to tell you something" he said, "what is it Danny?" I replied, he pushed me against the wall and kisses my lips. I've liked Danny for a while but I didn't know he liked me back.

I kissed back "I love you too Danny" I told him, his face turned really red and I chuckled at him. "Be mine?" He asked "yes."

We made it home and walked in. I took off my shoes and jacket then sat on the couch, with Danny soon to follow.

He layed on me which was adorable, we both eventualy fell asleep after watching some random stuff on Tv.
