Chapter 7

" Freya, are you sure you're going to be able to help?" Vince questions. I shake my head and fource a smile.

" Yes, I can help." I say. Edmund moans and looks over at Vince.

" Can't Sage help make the bed as well?" Edmund questions. I look up at Vince and smile.

" There is a Sage here!" I say in surprise. Edmund rolls his eyes angrily as I try to stop my body from shivering.

" Yes! Damn,why are you so stupid?" Edmund says sourly. I glare at him as he tries to fluff up his hair. I smile brightly and take in a sharp breath.

"Just because you have one doesn't mean you need to act like one." I remark. Edmund stops, as Vince covers his mouth to stop himself from snickering.

That may have not be the nicest thing to say but, I am just so sick and tired of his stupid remarks. Vince smiles, getting up and walking down the hallway.

" Sage!! There's someone I want you to meet!!" Vince shouts. I hear someone run down the hall and stop at the doorway.

Sage is not too different from the other Sage. I stare at his short chestnut red hair as he smiles at me, adjusting his glasses.I can't contain my surprise as I shout.

" Woah! You're hair is red! My Sage has long blue hair!" I exclaim. Sage runs his fingers through his hair and stares at me.

" Your Sage?" He repeats. I stare at him and shake my head.

" I-I'm sorry. How rude of me, hi, my name is Freya. I'm an emergence, I am from a different world." I explain holding out my hand. Sage beams brightly and grabs my hand, shaking it warmly.

" Hi! My name's Sage!" He greets. I smile as he stares at my teeth. " I love your braces, how lovely!" He says. I turn red and close my mouth. Sage shakes his head and grabs my chin.

" No! I mean it my dear! I love them, so beautiful. Don't let anyone tell you different." Sage explains. I smile brightly and grab on my dress.

" You're so nice! My Sage at home is really up tight." I explain. Sage starts to laugh and shrugs.

" Don't worry my dear. Most uptight people have had bad experiences or anxiety, just try to welcome him with an opened heart." Sage explains. I shake my head as Vince smiles.

" All the pieces are already set out, so we just need to get the bed frame set up." Vince says grabbing a piece. I shake my head and look at all of them.

" Thank you so much, I promise I will get back home as soon as I possibly can." I explain. Vince and Sage shake their heads' smiling. I notice Edmund is glaring at the floor, screwing two pieces of wood together.

I watch him slowly, noticing that his hands' are shaking. He throws down the pieces of wood and stops, looking up at me. I give him a friendly smile, waving at him. He doesn't smile and quickly waves at me.

I exhale and look up at him. He is quick to look down at my legs as I start to giggle, covering my mouth. I hear something clank together loudly as I cringe, I hear Edmund start to chuckle as I look up at him.

He shows me his teeth as he shakes his head, screwing the pieces together. Vince clears his throat and looks up at me, forcing an awkward grin.

" So Freya, are you dating anyone at the other world?" Vince questions. I smile and start to fit together four pieces of wood.

" Sadly, I'm in a bit of a pickle at home. Sage is like a brother to me, Edmund is the one I want to be dating, but I'm with Vince. I'll explain that in a minute, we just, we like eachother so much but he was so hurt that I started dating Vince." I explain.
