I roll around on the couch and exhale. He's been gone for quite some time, I stare at Sage and then at the hallway.
" Sage are you sure he's okay?" I question. Sage looks back at me and shakes his head.
" He's always gone for hours on end. I thought you liked Edmund anyway, so what's it matter?" Sage questions, flipping the page of his book. I lay upside down and stare at the ceiling.
" I know I do but, should anyone be gone that long? " I question. He shrugs and smiles.
" Vince is twenty-one, I think he can take care of himself." Sage says, adjusting his glasses. I shrug and stare at him.
" Are you sure? What if he fell down the stairs?" I question. Sage shakes his head and exhales.
" If you're so worried just go and look for him. He's in his lab more than likely." Sage says turning another page. I shake my head and look at him.
" Okay, I will." I assure him walking away from him. I stop, remembering that I actually don't know my way around the house.
I shake the thought out of my head and continue walking, making a left. I stop, shoving my hand in my pocket remembering that he drew me a map. I slowly unfold the map of the house as I smile, realizing that I am in fact going the right way.
I stop, reading it as it says that there should be an elevator a few doors down. I smile and walk down the hall, and opening the elevator door. I smile and press the basement button, the elevator door closes as it starts to move down slowly.
I smile and grab the handles against the wall as I feel the elevator start to shake. I tighten my grip, shivering. The elevator shakes more as the fource makes me fall down. I scream as I feel the elevator start to fall, air starts to blow my hair upward as I shake my head and see a portal open.
I stare at the ceiling as I shake my head and let go, allowing the air to blow me into the portal as I scream loudly. I fall upward as I get shoved through the portal and stare at it up in the air. I scream as I start to fall back down as the portal closes and I hit the grass.
I lay on the ground, nailing the dirt hard as I start to shiver. How am I supposed to get home? There's no way I can get home! I can't open the portals at my own will! I fource myself up and start to scream.
" Vince!!!" No response. I get up and look around, I'm in a field of high grass. I feel myself start to panic as I scream again.
" Vince!!!" I feel myself start to cry as I violently stomp my feet. " Sage!!!" I scream, tears streaming down my face. I feel something touch me as I scream at the top of my lungs, they shake my violently and cover my mouth.
" Shh!!" They shout clamping their hands' tightly over my mouth. I feel my jaw start to hurt as I scream, struggling to get out of their grip. " Shh! I'm sorry! I'm sorry, you just-" I bite their hand hard as they scream throwing me on the ground.
I smack my head on the grass as I cover my head. I hear him shout loudly as I try to push myself up. " Ow! You little bit-" He starts as I turn around and stare at him.
" Edmund?" I whisper. He slowly backs away from me as I stare at him. He looks just like Edmund, his whole facial structure is the same. I stare at his black hair and look at his arm, noticing that he has an mandala tattoo instead of a dragon. His brown eyes stare at me as he points at me.
" Who are you? How in hell do you know my name?" Edmund questions, backing away slowly. I shake my head and stare at him.
" Vince said we weren't attached to any world. Why, why are you here?" I question. I pick myself up from the ground as he shakes his head.
