Teenage Maple>>>>>> {{AKA May}}>>>>

Ace leaned against the door frame looking at the swift movements the future soldier made. He was socked. He never thought Dean would be the person to run into a more dangerous situation. The War? Dean must be fooling himself to think that the war would be better than this town.

"You can stop staring" Dean huffed between flying back kicks.

"You don't seem like the person to join an army" Ace advanced with one thing in mind, "you didn't any way, you seem completely different when you're not in school".

Dean finally stopped moving and looked at Ace swaying a bit recovering form the combat training he was putting himself through, "you don't know any thing about me".

"I know" Ace said now standing only feet from the strange boy.

"Why are you here Trancy?" Dean said then looked at the water bottle next to Ace on the floor.

Ace picked it up and tossed it to Dean who caught it with no effort, "I want to know you".

"Ha!" Dean threw his head back, "why?".

"When are you leaving?" Ace ignored Dean's laughter.

"I have enough credits to graduate tomorrow so in a week" Dean didn't know why he just told that to Ace.

"Does Jem know?" Ace asked.

"No one does, not any one but you" Dean took a swig from the bottle and sighed at the ice cold water sliding down his throat.

"What is going on in that house" Ace's face hardened.

"You don't need to know" Dean started to unwrap his hands.

Ace walked over as if not in control of his body and wiped a bead of sweat from Dean's forehead making him look into Ace's eyes.

"They're my family" Ace pleaded sounding more weak then he EVER wanted to.

"I'll tell you when i get back" Dean said not stepping away from the desperate boy, "if you want everyone to stay safe then tear that stupid wall paper of that fucking pentagram".

Ace's breath caught as his eyes scanned over Dean's perfect lips and nodded at what Dean was saying. He felt like he could stand for hours just looking at Dean's face, scanning his feature, looking at every little scar and into those ice cold gray eyes.

Ace shook his head slightly and took a step back still not able to draw his eyes away from Dean.

"W-will you write to us?" Ace's voice cracked and he scolded himself for being such a chick.

"I'll write to Jemma" Dean said pulling a hoodie over his head, "i have no intention of writing to you".

"Will you?" Ace asked.

"Why?" Dean rose a dark eyebrow felling the coarse cotton against the tattoo that still burned when ever he got tot close to the demon.

"I want to be your friend and plus" Ace smiled stupidly "i hear you're good at math and i suck at it".

Dean let a small smirk tighten his lips.

"Fine Brat" He said grabbing his gym bag then looked back at Ace who still stood as still as a rock, "are ya coming or do ya wanna walk home in the dark alone".

Ace smiled then caught up to Dean. They walked as Ace rambled about things and Dean stayed silent somewhat enjoying the boys rambling.

"so what day are you leaving?" Ace asked.

"I told you" Dean said, "some time next week".

"What day?" Ace asked a bit frustrated with Deans stubbornness and will to keep him leaving a huge secret.

"Wednesday" Dean said.

"Four days..." Ace trailed off.

"Yep" Dean stopped at the entrance tot a path through the woods, "this where i leave, be careful going home"

Dean turned onto the path and Maple stood next to Ace.

"You should go after him" she said and Ace jumped.

"Jesus fucking crist Maple!" he sighed "don't scare me like that!"

"I'm a ghost how am i not supposed to scare you" she said looking at him like he sprouted two heads.

Ace sighed and turned back to his way home. Maple joined him as her teenage form and looped her arm with his Grell soon joining them. Ace kept his head down filing through his thoughts.

Why do i feel so sad about Dean leaving? i don't know him...He isn't my friend. he's made that quite clear. But, he was at the hospital and warned me to get out of the house. Ace thought.

"He was at the hospital cause he was worried about you" Maple said reading his thoughts.

"Lady your bother is calling me" Grell said.

"Then go" she said "Ace and i could stand to have some time together".

Grell nodded and disappeared going to Dean.

"Master, are you really leaving" Grell asked hoping Dean would shake his head no.

"Yes" Dean said "you and i have a contract, you take my soul when the demon is gone. Until and if i get back you are to protect the Light family but mostly you are to make sure Maple is safe"

"Of course young lord" Grell bowed.

"Am i doing the right thing?" Dean asked and Grell stood up his eyes wide

"Master" Grell smiled weakly, "You will do what you need to do, i will take care of the children"

Dean laughed slightly and nodded.

Jemma walked into the lunch room four days later with a pale face.

"J you ok?" Ryan asked.

"He's gone" Ace put his head down understanding Jemma's silentness.

"What's going on?" Ryan asked.

Ace stood up and wrapped his arms around Jemma as she collapsed into tears.

"Shh" he soothed, "it'll be ok"

"How!" she lashed out pulling away from him and clenching her fists, "How the fuck will it be ok? He's gone! My BABY cousin is GONE off to war to get himself killed!"

"Jemma listen" Ace pleaded.

"No!" she screamed and everyone in the lunchroom looked at her, "You listen! he was FINE until you showed up. yea he was bullied and his life was shit, he was sheltered and shy and depressed but he was here! he wasn't states away! he was here! where we could protect him!"

"oh really!" Ace yelled back, "Ignoring that you two were even related and letting him get abused was "protecting" him! You didn't gave a damn about him! you never even looked at Him!not at school! You never even called him Dean! you sat by and watched him get hurt, some cousin you are." he scoffed, "you're just a bitch who took pity in him"

she slammed her hand across his face and tears fell from her eyes, "I hope that house kills you!"
