The sound of my alarm ringing in my ear jolted me awake the following morning.
With a groan, I slowly propped myself up on my elbows, making sure to revel in the warmth that my comforter provided me.
My gaze briefly shifted around the room as I took a moment to recall the events that took place yesterday afternoon.
"Huh," I murmured to myself. "So it was real."
My head remained stuck in the clouds for the next couple of minutes as I tried to make sense of my newfound reality, and when the faint smell of bacon began to occupy the air in my room, I finally decided that it was time for me to get up.
Since I usually sleep in shorts and a tank top, I figured that it would be best for me to change into my uniform now, so that I wouldn't have to come back upstairs and do it after I finished eating.
