"Get your hands off the merchandise!" I hissed while slapping Justin's hand away from the candy bowl.
He frowned, cradling his 'wounded' hand against his chest. "Ow! That hurt!"
I sighed.
"Fine, I'm sorry." I gave in, handing him two fun-sized Kit Kats. It was his party, after all. "You can have two right now and two more after dinner. I just don't want you to eat too much because then you won't want any dessert."
He took the candy from me with a smile. "Okay!"
We were currently setting up the game room so that it would be ready when our friends got here, and Justin seemed to be having a hard time staying focused on his task at hand.
Soft music poured out of the surround sound speakers as Justin finally started to type our names into the bowling system.
