When I woke up Thursday morning, something in the air felt different.

I went through my morning routine in a daze, and when Julianna asked me what was wrong, I told her that I didn't know.

Something bad was definitely going to happen today.

I was in the middle of dusting the shelves in the living room when my phone began to ring from somewhere in the house.

"Did I leave my phone in there with you?" I called out to Julianna.

"Yeah," she yelled back, "Hold on, I'll bring it to you."

I felt my stomach churn as Julianna entered the room with my phone in her hand. She passed it over to me, and I let out a shaky breath as I tried to calm my nerves.

No one ever really calls me, especially at eleven o'clock in the morning, so you can imagine my concern when it comes to this random ass phone call.
