"How's Texas treating you?" I asked while rolling over onto my stomach.
Justin flashed me a smile that made my heart melt.
"It's very . . . lively down here," he said with a chuckle. "It's nothing like L.A., though."
My lips dipped down into a frown as the sound began to fade in and out due to Justin's poor connection. He was currently eating a late lunch, and I would've left him to enjoy it by himself, but I desperately needed to talk to him since it's been over a week since we last spoke.
