Chapter Seven: The Big Mistake

Me and Danny hung out a lot after that. My band has been cheering me up and I've been doing a lot better. Its been a week and a half and we had a show last night and tonight we're free. I've been told we're stopping at a hotel so we'll finally get a bed to lay on.

As we pulled up to the small building I saw Ben waving me over. "Andy, Danny wants to know if you'll share a room with us." "Uh, sure." I smiled and he smiled back before I felt a hand on my waist. I jumped before turning to see CC. "Dude!" "Sorry, anyway where are you staying?" "Danny and Ben." He looked up at the guy before nodding and handing me a card. "These are mine and Jakes room and Jinxx and John's room. Theres a spare key on them too." "Cool." I watched as he turned and Ben led me up some stairs.

We got to a door and Ben opened it quickly, rushing inside. I curiously followed him before I shut the door and he ran to the farthest bed. "I call this one!" "Wha- no! You and Danny are best friends so that means you share a bed!" "Nope!" He smirked before crossing his arms. "Ben please!" "Nope!" I sighed before getting in the other and grabbing out my phone. "You're a douche bag.." "So?"

I scrolled through my twitter page before the door opened to reveal Danny. "Hey Danny! Andy's keeping your guys' bed warm!" "No I'm not!" I threw my pillow at him and he laughed as Danny plopped at the edge of my bed. "Guy's it seriously doesn't matter, I'll sleep on the floor." I frowned before speaking. "You aren't sleeping on the floor Danny, I'll sleep on the couch." Ben frowned from the other side of the room and I pretended I didn't notice. "Andy y--" "Its fine." I smiled and started pulling things from the closet.

We hung out for most the night and I sighed as Ben put on the same cartoon we've been watching for the past two hours. "Ben Adventure Time sucks!" "Shut up Andy its amazing!" "Put on Batman!" "No!" I glared at him playfully before falling back on the couch Danny moved in front of the TV and sighing. "You're such a jerk Ben.." "You love me." "Whatever.."

I truly feel that me and these two are getting close. I've hung out with Ashley's band too but Asking seems more friendly to me. Jace is still a jerk, ignoring me and all, but I couldn't give anymore possible fucks. Because when I think of or see Danny I immediately become happy, and I haven't stopped think about him.

Something about him just pulls me closer and I can't get away. Not that I want to.

"Here." Danny walked through the door before handing us each a bag of food and sitting on the empty bed. I pulled out a hamburger and smiled before devouring it quickly. "Andy, you like that much?" "I'm starving!" I spoke with a full mouth. "Well obviously." I laughed before my phone vibrated and I dropped the remaining piece.

Ashley:

I need to talk to you

I froze before sighing and putting the phone back down. As I took a sip from my coke it vibrated again and I groaned.

Ashley:

Andy please come outside

Putting my last bite in my mouth I stood up and went over to my shoes. "Andy?" I turned to Danny and saw him staring at me curiously. "Jake needs my help with CC, already pissing him off." He laughed before nodding and I ran out the door.

As I got to the front of the building arms pulled me close and I jumped, smelling Ashley's axe quickly. "Ashley.." "Andy I miss you. You keep ignoring me! I haven't talked to you since you ditched me for Danny." "Ashley I really don't trust you anymore.." "Andy you have to understand why I left." "You ditched me and our friends for a band. I do understand." I shakily pushed him off and he sighed before wrapping his jacket around my shoulders and smiling sadly at me. "I love you Andy.. and I will do anything to get you back." I locked eyes with him before he leaned over and pushed his lips against mine. I hesitantly kissed back before he pulled me close and asked for entrance. I gave it to him and felt his tongue wander before we pulled away for air. "You have to give me another chance.."

I thought of Danny and immediately my heart broke. This is exactly what I wanted.. Ashley to beg for me back.. but now I love Danny and I want him. "Can I think about it?" "Of course baby." He kissed my cheek before grabbing my hand and leading me back inside. I handed him his jacket before he kissed my forehead and headed the opposite way. "Call me."

That night I laid on the couch and thought about what was going on. I wished this was easier.. that Ashley just never left me in the first place.. But if that didn't happen then I wouldn't have been close to Danny..

I heard a creak of the bed and quickly closed my eyes as Danny and Ben started talking. "Danny?" "What?" "Where are you going?" "Just go back to bed Ben." "Whats wrong?" "Nothing.." A soft sigh floated through the room before feet walked over and arms went under me. I was carried to the bed and laid down before the bed dipped and arms went around me. "Ben.. I love him.. Ashley's not good for him at all.." "Then tell him. You know how Ashley can be." "I know." A soft kiss was placed on my forehead and my heart was gone.
