Chapter Five: Ben Bruce

After the concert and signings I decided to take a walk. I quickly told Jinxx before heading towards the woods and pulling out a box of cigarettes.

I don't understand why he hates me.. I don't understand what I did.. but I'm not going I let that get to me, for now. Of course I haven't told anyone yet, but I know they will find out soon. My lips can't stay shut once I break down.

As I put the cancer stick between my lips I heard a branch crack and turned to see a guy walking up to me. "Ello mate, kinda lost." I smiled before blowing the smoke from my mouth and nodding. "Ha.. guess so.." "Your Andy? Right?" "Yeah." "Ben." He held a hand out to me and I shook it before looking the man up and down.

His hair was crazy, i'm not gonna lie. It was on the darker side of brown and poofed up quite a bit. He had two lip rings and piercing green eyes. He was wearing a ripped up black tank top and some ripped up jeans with two or three bracelets and a cigarette in his hands.

"Need a lighter?" "Yeah, thanks." I handed him mine quickly and watched as he sat on the ground. "You seem like somethings bothering you mate, wanna talk?" "Uh, nothings wrong with me. I'm doing fine." "Thats complete bullshit." I looked at him and he was raising an eyebrow at me. "I can tell, my best friend went through something like this a couple months ago."A sigh left my lips before I whispered. "Just a hater I guess.." "Jace?" My eyes went wide before I turned to him and he frowned. "I heard him talk, just not who he was talking to. I'll knock some sense I to him if you want me to." "I'm uh, I'm fine.. I'll be fine if I ignore him for now." "Are you sure? Cause if I see it again I'll do something." "No really, thanks Ben." "Of course."

We talked for a bit about the upcoming tour before another person showed up and I looked up to see another guy there. "Sam? Hey man, this is Andy." I waved back as he rose a hand and he sat in our little spot. "Didn't know where you were Ben, see you found a friend." "Yep, wheres the guys?" "Showering, Danny's sleeping." At his name, my heart sped up and I looked down.

I don't know what it is, but he just.. something about that man is pulling me closer to developing feelings for him. Every time we lock a gaze or I hear his voice, butterflies attack my stomach and I get all nervous. He's--

"Andy?" I was pulled from my thoughts to Ben screaming my name and jumped before turning. "What?" "I said, do you wanna go meet James?" "Uh, sure." "Cool." He helped me up before leading my back to their bus..

Does this mean I'll have to see Danny?

As we stepped on the bus I saw another guy standing there and he shook my head. "Ello, I'm James." "Hi, Andy." "Cool. Wanna beer?" "No thanks." "Okay." He put a bottle to his lips before sitting on the couch and pulling me close. I laughed before relaxing into the cushion and watching as Ben put this weird show on the television. "Andy? You watch Adventure Time?" "Uh, no." "Dude!" Everyone sighed as Ben started giving me a speech and I just zoned out.

When he finished his rant I just nodded before hearing that voice. "Andy?"
