Chapter 12 (Danielle’s POV)

Zayn was my only chance to get out of here… and he left. It was not really possible that anyone would find me considering where we were and it was snowing so hard. I didn’t even hear cars, so especially not a person! I didn’t know if Zayn could help me anyways, but at least he was there! I know that he didn’t want me to get shot and he didn’t either… but he could’ve stayed! The man, who I don’t know the name of, well I really don’t even want to know his name, walked back over to me. “Ok well at least we have him gone now!” he said and paused for a moment. Then he looked at me with those mean-looking green eyes and said “aren’t you just glad that he walked away? I would’ve hated to have had to shoot him!” and he gave me an evil smirk. I didn’t think it was possible for me to even cry any harder, but the second he said that, the tears were streaming down my cheeks like a waterfall.

“Aw did I make you cry?” he said in a baby voice and sticking his bottom lip out, he was being so mean and I was so sick of dealing with him and with him treating me like crap. “Do you miss that stupid little boyfriend of yours?” and I looked at him with the most mean face that I could put on through my tears. “It’s quite a shame that he left you here, he was your last chance! But.. he did save himself from getting shot” and he made that stupid smirk, yet again. At this point I was just getting mad, I knew that Zayn did this for the best… at this point he’s been gone for a few minutes. That’s enough time for him to already be home and I’m sure he isn’t coming back. He waited a couple minutes before saying anything else, then he looked me dead in the eyes and now he was squatted down sitting in front of me and said “You do know he isn’t coming back for you right?” He said and I punched him right in the face and he fell backwards. Then I heard police sirens and I started running out of the place towards the police car.
