"My mommy," Darbie said to a still confused Daniel. Ashley might have guessed what was happening because she immediately went to Ruby's side, carried her and walked back towards Darbie and Ruby darling,
"Hi am your aunt Ashley and this is my little Ruby and your mommy talks so much about you. If I didn't have a little, I might have already died of jealousy " She explained smiling.
My baby straightened up in Daniel's hand facing them. She pointed at Ashley then Ruby and asked "Mommy?".
"Yes, am Ruby's mommy" Ashley nodded. She then pointed at me then Ruby. She didn't get to ask her question because Ashley hurriedly said "No silly, Gertrude is Ruby's aunt like I am your aunt. Okay?" Darbie nodded smiling.
She pointed at me then herself "Mommy mine?" "Yes baby, your mommy is all yours," Ashley said cleaning her tears stained face.
Darbie smiled happily at both Ruby and Ashley and faced her daddy asking "Mommy all mine?"
Daniel kissed her forehead and laughed "Yes baby, mommy is all yours" "Forever and always?"
This time I answered, "Yes baby, forever and always".
She jumped out of Daniel's hand and ran towards me as fast as her little legs could carry her.
