We were having a late dinner because my princess decided she was hungry again. She was having a small portion of pasta and meatballs.
I was sitting opposite Gertrude who had Darbie on her lap. she was feeding herself and Darbie. I was so happy that she warmed up to Gertrude and me because her aunt said she wasn't really good with meeting new people.
"Mama, take"
There she was. Tomato sauce all over her face and hand trying to feed Gertrude some as well. she took a hand full of pasta and started bringing it towards my direction.
"Daddy, open"
"so delicious, thank you baby"
After finishing her food, I cleaned her hands and face while Gertrude placed her on the floor making her way towards the kitchen in order to do the dishes but Darbie had other ideas in mind because she didn't want to let go of Gertrude's shirt.
she made grabby hands towards her so that she can be lifted by her mommy. I was talking to my beta about introducing Darbie to the pack the next day as I watched the scene unfold.
My Luna bent down to our baby's side and kissed her head.
"I will be back baby, I just need to clean your plate and we will go upstairs with Daddy. I don't want you in the kitchen because you are too little."
Gertrude made her way towards the kitchen once again with Darbie right behind running after her with tears in her eyes.
I quickly got to my baby lifting her making her put her head on my shoulder.
"Mama, go". she said putting her thumb in her mouth.
I didn't get to reply because Gertrude was already out of the kitchen.
"Come on baby, mama is right here".
"Mama bad bad" she replied with a pout.
