A/N: AHHH sorry for taking a while to update :/ I had a lot happening in my life and didn't want to ruin my story that I hold dear. I promise I'll try to update more! Thank you for reading!

As Stan and Ford led Dipper and Mabel around Gravity Falls, it was quickly apparent that, nothing much has changed. Just a few new additions to the town, as well as the new residents.

As the group approached a newer area of Gravity Falls, Stan spoke up and told the twins that "This is where the new folks have moved into. Somewhere around this area anyway. I haven't seen 'em myself but, I have a general idea of what they look like."
"Like what, Grunkle Stan?" Dipper replied.
"Well, not how we look! With two eyes, arms, legs, hands and feet. As well as skin. If they do not have any kind of skin like us humans, then that's a definite monster. Besides. Ford knows more about them than I. He's seen them and asked questions to them too. I haven't seen one at all." Stan responded.

As Mabel was about to ask Ford what one looked like, Dipper interrupted.
"H-hey uh... W-whoever or whatever that is doesn't even HAVE any kind of s-skin on them a-a-at all!" his finger, pointed towards someone short in the snow taking a stroll...Without any kind of skin what so ever.

OHMYGODOHMYGODOHMYGODOHMYGOD!" Mabel squealed in excitement.
"Is, I-is that a monster, Ford?" questioned Dipper
"Yes, it is. But please, treat them all normally. I believe they understand people being afraid and not used to them, but treating them unequally is not okay with them." Ford responded
"That makes sense." Dipper replied "Hey... where's Mabel?"
They looked over to where the short thing was, and sure enough, Mabel was talking to them.

No harm can be done from just talking to them, right?

Dipper thought, Stan broke Dipper from his thoughts by asking "Hey, want to go say hi to the fella with Mabel, Ford and I?"
To which, Dipper agreed.

Whilst Ford was talking to Dipper about some monster hoodoo voodoo sciencey stuff (probably), Mabel had snuck away to go and talk to this "monster" and for once, she was quiet.
"Hiya!" said Mabel
The monster, surprised, turned around.
"oh! heya. i haven't seen you around here before, who are you?" The monster said, still startled.
"I'm Mabel! Knitting master extraordinare! Who are you? Also, if you don't mind me um... asking. What are you?"
"no sweat kid, i understand. the name's sans. sans the skeleton. must be pretty weird seeing a monster, right?"
Of course, Sans didn't know of Gravity Falls' summer.
"Nope!" proclaimed Mabel, proudly, "During the Summer me and my bro bro were here too! We met lots of monsters! None from the underground though. You all seem nice! We met gnomes, a gobblewonker..." Mabel continued, until Dipper, Stan and Ford came over.
"Mabel, what are you doing?" asked Dipper
"OH! Hi Dippydoo! I was just telling Sans over here about our summer! Also, Sans. This is my twin brother Dipper! These two other guys are our great uncle Ford and Stan! But we call them grunkle for short!"
"How's it hanging?" said Stan
"Greetings... no one ever told me if people still say greetings to greet someone." greeted Ford
"dont worry about it, i know someone who still says it too. the name's sans. sans the skeleton. nice to meet you all."
"So... what are you doing out here Sans?" questioned Dipper
"eh, nothing much. just going to the store to pick up some ingredients and stuff. speaking of which, i still need to go and get them, so id better go. dont worry, im sure we'll meet again."
And like that, he trudged off into the snow, towards the nearest store.
"BYYYYEEEE SANSSS!!"
Mabel practically screamed at the top of her lungs.
Sans just looked back and waved.
"So... um... who wants to build a snowman?" Stan asked
The twins looked at each other and shouted
"YES! SNOWMAN. SNOWMAN. SNOWMAN."
They chanted, then they got to work on the snowman.
From where the group was building their snowman, a small child, 13 years old, was watching them from inside a nearby house. Gazing out of it.
Soon enough they asked if they could go out and play in the snow. But really, all they wanted to do was to help the group of four finish their snowman. So, they went outside, towards a snowman in the making.
