Chapter 11 - Mysteries

It was night-time. Everyone was asleep in the Mystery Shack. Except for Dipper as usual. Since reading Frisk's diary, he had been planning of a way to get Frisk to use their time powers so that the Time Tracker... thing could detect a change in the flow of time. Maybe, just maybe, Dipper had an idea that could work. A snowball fight. Throw a snowball at Frisk. Frisk slows or stops time to dodge. Tracker activates. Evidence confirmed. Confront Frisk. Get answers!
It was fool proof! After all, it is snowing outside. Ready for tomorrow, November 7th!
With a peace of mind, Dipper fell asleep. Can't do a plan without energy!

The sun rose over the snowy town of Gravity Falls. Well. What little sun could get through the thick snow clouds anyway.

Mabel woke up first, mind racing with what to do today.
Of course, that all depended on what Dipper wanted to do too.
When Dipper woke up, he explained his plan to her.

"So, we start a snowball fight near their home, when a snowball is close to hitting them they activate their powers and the tracker records it! It can't possibly go wrong unlesd the tracker doesn't work!"
"You really think this'll work Dipper? I mean. If the tracker doesn't work, what else?"

He paused, considering his options on what to do if nothing worked.

"We either wait for Ford to do something or confront Frisk directly as I'm pretty sure it can't be hard to notice. I can't think of any other way."
"Yeah, but why?
"B-Because having control over time is kinda terrifying and it actually scares me?"
"Eh fair enough. We should get going soon then! I'm totally gonna win this snowball fight because I am Legendary rainbow snow warrior queen Mabelton! Oh and if Frisk hates us because of this, I'm not making you any more sweaters until they like us again."

Today looked like it would be a good day.

The twins stepped outside together and made their way to Frisk's home.
Upon arrival, they knocked at the door and heard a voice from within.
"Frisk! I think your friends are at the door!" It was Toriel.

Within a few seconds, the door opened up to reveal a smiling, wrapped up Frisk. Grinning from ear to ear and clearly happy to see their friends.

"Frisk!" Greeted Mabel. "Would you like to come outside with us? It seems like you're already prepared too. As you're already wrapped up for the cold!"
"Someone's clearly been waiting for us haven't they?" Commented Dipper.
"Yup! I've been waiting to go outside today and I hoped you two would show up! I'd love to go out today. I've been so booored."

The trio wandered around Gravity Falls, when suddenly...

THUMP!

"Agh! Huh? Who the?- Mabel?"
"Bwahaha! You shoulda seen the look on your face! Pretty good shot huh? They don't call me The legendary rainbow snow warrior queen Mabelton for nothing! My snowball skills are superb! Take that Dip Dots!"

Oh it was on now.

Dipper gathered some snow and made it into a snowball. Aiming carefully, he threw it... and missed!
Again he threw and he missed.
He threw again and he missed.
Dipper threw and threw again. He missed both times.
Of course he was hitting something. Just not what he wanted. He was hitting the ground with his snowballs.

"Hah! Wow! Guess Queen Mabelton really is the best snowball warrior around! You keep missing, therefore I cannot be touched! Fear me! For I am-"

THUMP!
