The child walked over to were the group were building their snowman. Dipper saw them and walked over to them. "Hey, what are you doing?"
The child simply made symbols with their hands, which Dipper did not understand.
"Uhhh, sorry but I don't understand sign language. Hang on one second."
Dipper turned around, and walked to Ford, he told Ford, "Okay so, this person over there uses sign language and I dont know what they want, could you help me deciph- decode what they're saying?"
Asked Dipper. Ford happily agreed, told Stan where he was going, and followed Dipper to the child.
"Hi again. Sorry that took a while. Anyways, I am Dipper, and this is Ford. He knows sign language." The child smiled at that, and signed again.
Ford nodded until they were done. "They said they would like to join us in building a snowman. What do you say Dipper?" explained Ford
"Sure. The more the merrier, right?" replied Dipper.
The child smiled then followed Dipper and Ford towards the snowman.
"Mabel, Stan." spoke Dipper "Someone here wanted to help us build our snowman."
The child stepped forward and waved.
"HIIIIIIII!" Mabel shouted, probably causing an avalanche somewhere too, "I'm Mabel! Knitting master and queen of the snowmen!"
The child giggled a little at that.
"That's Stan, he is the co-owner and former owner of the mystery shack. We live there." pointed out Dipper.
"Whats up?" greeted Stan.
"Sooooo... um... wait, what is your name?" asked Mabel.
They signed again, and Ford translated.
"They said their name is Frisk Dreemurr" Ford told the group.

"WAIT, WHAT?" exclaimed Stan
"You mean, the savior of the monster race, Frisk Dreemurr?"
Frisk nodded
"Woaaahh..." said Mabel, in awe.
"How old are you by the way?" asked Dipper.
Frisk again signed.
"Thirteen years old." replied Ford.
"How on earth did you manage to... Nevermind, this place is weird anyway." said Dipper
"So, lets get building this SNOWMAAAAANNNN!" Mabel enthusiastically shouted.
And so, Frisk and the Pines began to construct the perfect snowman. Although Frisk did secretly hope it would come to life, like the one in the underground. They made it a mental note to visit them soon.
It was nice building a snowman.
No one treated them like royalty, popular or intimidating. It was good to be treated like a normal kid. It was expected that people would have questions, and thats fine, but being treated higher than others just didn't appeal to Frisk. To no surprise, everyone had questions.
After the snowman was finished, everyone started talking and admiring their work. Frisk just stood there. They don't like talking very much. But Mabel walked over to Frisk and started to talk.
"Sooooo... Frisk right?"
Frisk nodded in response.
"Are you alright? You don't seem to be talking..."
Frisk nodded again.
"Do you like talking?"
Frisk shook their head.
"Oh. Hm... Can you write on something? Would that work?"
Frisk nodded.
Mabel pulled out a pen, as well as a notepad from her sweater.
"I KNEW this would be useful one day other than drawing sweater designs on!"
She handed them over to Frisk, who was smiling at Mabel. He began to write.
Hello Mabel, I am Frisk. It is very nice to meet you.
To which Mabel replied,
"It is nice to meet you too! The savior of the monsters and underground! Our grunkles told us about the story."
Frisk began to write again.
I am surprised you know of my tale, I haven't seen you around here before. Are you new?
Mabel simply shook her head and said "Nope! We were here for the summer too!"
Frisk replied.
Ah. I see. I hope you had a good time. Oh my, I am terribly sorry I forgot to say, but how are you? Is everything okay?

Oh yeah, I like this person.
Thought Mabel.

Meanwhile, Dipper was watching contently with Mabel's new found friendship for Frisk.
They seem like a nice person. They're nice to Mabel and I. Plus they freed the monsters of the underground. I think I need to get to know Frost.
Dipper thought whilst watching Mabel walk over to him.
Mabel had finished her chat with Frisk, as they were getting cold and wanted to go back inside.
"Dippy! Frisk agreed to meet us some point this week!"
Frisk. That was it. Not Frost.
He mentally corrected himself before responding to Mabel.
"Mabel, it's Saturday."
"Which means tomorrow is the last day of this week! I ask to meet this week. HA! Outwitted again by Mabel!"
"Again? Mabel, you've only met them onc-"
"That's what you think! I met Frisk in my imagination! It still counts!"
Dipper laughed at Mabel's comment, and the group returned back to the Shack.
"What did you do with your notepad by the way Mabel?"
Asked Dipper.
"Oh, I let them have it. They could only talk by sign language or gestures otherwise. Besides. They let me have the pages with my drawings on."
Answered Mabel. To which, Dipper seemed happy with.

Back at Frisk's home

"My child! You have returned from building a snowman. You had a good time I hope?"
"Yes mum! I made new friends!"
Usually, Frisk never uses their voice. Only with those they're comfortable with. Those who have heard it however, have never heard something more adorable.
"Ah! Who might they be?"
Asked Frisk's mother.
"Dipper and Mabel. They're nice! I built the snowman with them too."
Frisk answered.
"How lovely. I expect you'll be seeing them again?"
"Yes mum! I can't wait."
The mother smiled at that.
"Oh. Speaking of which, Sans finally came back from the shops! It might've taken him what seems like an eternity, but he finally got the bread, milk and butter I asked for."
Frisk giggled, they knew what Sans did when he went shopping for the family. Sleep on a bench and in an hour or two, get the items requested.
"Oh also, Mabel gave me her notepad to write on since she didn't understand sign language. She said I could keep it too!"
The mother laughed, and said,
"Well now Frisk, it seems like you have made excellent friends. Oh my! Look at the time. It's past your bedtime! Come on. Go to bed."
Frisk happily nodded, went up to their room and went to sleep after a goodnight kiss.

Then. In the middle of the night. Frisk realised...

Wait... Mabel can knit sweaters?!

A/n: Hi all! Thanks for reading. Sorry this was so late. I got a bit stumped. I should have another chapter up next week. 1000+ words on this chapter too! Longest one yet!
The update on this was just adding an image to this and more spelling corrections.
Have a good day! -J
