Serena's POV
"Why are you suddenly defending him?" Calem asked me.
"I just want you to be nice to everyone, I don't want a boyfriend that no one likes."
Well, that was a complete lie. I've been having these weird feelings around Ash lately even though I haven't even talked to him, except for school reasons. Calem has also been acting very rude to everyone and seems to only like me because of my looks. This started around a month ago, and I'm really getting uncomfortable with Calem. I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard Ash start crying and ran onto the bus that just arrived.
"Ugh, he's such a baby." Calem said.
I didn't say anything, and for the first time I actually felt bad for Ash. Calem has been bullying him and making everyone hate him ever since we started dating.
"Ok, let's get on the bus." I said.
"Alright, time for school.." He responded.
As we got on the bus I spotted Ash all the way in the back of the bus crying. Man, Ash must have had a bad morning because Calem's rude remarks never have any effect on Ash. I really gotta figure why I'm feeling so weird around Ash, and why I'm suddenly feeling bad for him.
The feeling is an amazing one.
