we got back from the fight and i went looking for Taylor, i think she'd like to hear about it.

"Taylor you wanna-" i stopped looking into her room, she wasn't there.

i went into the living room, not there, my room, bathrooms, basement, kitchen, study, library! where is she?

"hey Castro, have you seen Taylor?" i asked walking into the kitchen. everyone was there... this an't be good.

"Edive, sit down." said Grandfather.

"no, where's Taylor?" i asked.

he slid a piece of paper my way that had cereal letters on it.

"we have your little girl- Loyd." it read.

"no! nononono, this is some kinda joke. it's gotta be a joke! Taylor? Taylor come out!" i shouted as i ran throughout the house looking for her. every room, every door, not a single rug was left un-turned.

finally on my third run through of everything Frank stopped me.

"she's gone Edvige! that doesn't mean wee won't find her though. we'll start having men checking their territories, looking around till we find her. then, no one lives." he said simply, with fire in his eyes.

"no! we gotta find her now! do you know what Loyd will do to her?"

"do you know what Loyd will do to her if he finds out we're coming? remember, she's family, and she is not getting left behind." he told me in a reassuring tone.

"fine... but keep the guns ready, call allies to get started on searching. do we know any of her friends?" i asked.

"she said she knows every gang in town." Frank said.

"we'll get them to help. we're getting her back here one way or another."

it's been two days, we've gotten lower gangs that we wouldn't normally associate with to help. turns out a lot of people care about Taylor, a couple of them nearly set off like a bomb when they found out. these kids actually know a lot about how to get information, i'm kinda impressed... still no Taylor though.

i can't sleep, i can't eat, i don't think I've even showered since we found out. i was going over some info with one of our men when he said something interesting.

"i found out that he has never killed someone." he said.

"what?" i asked him.

"well, when i worked for him, we got pretty close, he told me that he never killed anyone, he always got his men to do that. it was two years ago and i'm not sure how true it is, but it could be leverage." he said

"so we can know a bluff when he calls it..." i said to myself.

i was pulled out of my thoughts with Grandfather calling everyone into the living room. i hurried in to see him sitting on the couch with his laptop on his lap.

"what is it??" i asked.

"he sent a video."

we all hurried to gather around and see what was about to be played.

"this can't be good." muttered Frank, right as Grandfather hit play.

it started out facing at a white floor before the camera was moved to face... Taylor. she was tied to a chair in the middle of the room, a gag in her mouth, and blood on her face and hair.

Loyd came into the shot and grabbed a handful of her hair, pointing her head towards the camera.

"say hi Precious." he said in a sickly sweet tone.

there was blood pooled on the floor around her and her clothes where ragged.

"wanna tell me where their holding up now?" he asked her.

she nodded, i felt my breath hitch as he removed the gag. even if she did tell him, i would understand. the second the gag was outta her mouth she spit right in his face.

"bitch!" he yelled before back handing her across the face.

"my patience is riding thin, pretty soon i won't be as nice."

"yay." she said sarcastically before giving him a smug look.

"whats that look about?" he asked going up to her with a smug look.

"cause i know that their gonna come for me." she said with a smile.

"no ones coming for you sweet heart, it's just you, me and, this knife." said Loyd before pulling her hair and holding a knife to her throat.

"that's what you think. do your worst, cause i'm a sucker for pain." she said before the camera went black, the last thing being heard was her ear piercing scream through the speaker.

"still spunky as ever..." Castro muttered.

"we gotta find her... now!" i shouted right as i was running to the basement there was a knock at the door.

everyone stopped, the tension was thick in the air, till Frank went to answer it. in stepped one of the younger gangs that we recruited, the leader named Crash.

"we know where she is." he said with a smug look.

"where!" i shouted going up to him.

"you gotta give us a bit of motivation first." he said looking smug.

"fine..." i said with a sigh, i went up to him and took out my gun, aiming it at his head.

"here's your motivation, now talk!" i ordered.

"okay okay! their in the country, at the old Della plantation. we snuck in when no one was there and saw her. she's alive but in bad shape." he said.

i removed my gun and handed him a hundred.

"good work, wanna stick around for some fun?" i asked them.

"you know it. ain't no one hurting Tay again." he said before taking out a hand gun.

"okay, everyone suit up, and get into the cars. there's gonna be blood tonight!"
