This darkness.

Oh how lonely, yet somehow it's blissful silence that is full of contridictions to my thoughts...bleed through.

A clear feeling, this darkness.

Being restrained, held down by something he could not move even if he wished it.

Don't worry, it will only hurt for a moment...

Oh don't cry, I know you love the pain. In fact it seems that you, enjoy it.

He flinched and trembled at the dark figure inched closer, before bringing down a dagger into his chest. Driving it in deep.

Swiftly Alfred shot up, gasping for air while he felt his body drenched with sweat.

"Th-That nightmare?...w-what the hell?" He stuttered whilst trying to calm himself.

His tired, dark circled eyes slowly narrowed at the clock that beamed bright blue numbers. Four AM.

Alfred groaned loudly in irritation, flipping back down on his back. Although he didn't feel like he could have the energy to close his eyes, after such a horrific event mentally happened.

It was practically ages ago, when he was unlucky to be kidnapped as a child. He was raped. He was beaten. The final blow, was the monster trying to skin him alive while he was still concious.

Somehow he couldn't remember what happened afterwards, he just found himself in a hospital bed. Apparently a search and rescue team were not too far from where the crime took place. But they say whoever helped him escape, was massacred in the most brutal way.

Alfred turned on the light to his bathroom, wincing at its bright illumination. His eyes slowly adjusted as he looked inside the mirrors cabinet space, pulling out his medications.

Some were for anxiety, others for his depression.

He raised his head slowly and stared at the strange figure he saw. This one had red eyes, dark bags under his eyes that make his pale complexion much more noticeable.
He sighed softly. One pill...two pill. Mix in a glass of water and then...everything would be clear...and okay.

His footsteps could be heard as he walked down the hall of his wood floors. Alfred pulled open his closer doors and searched for jeans and a simple baseball tshirt. When he pulled his shoes on he grabbed his satchel and walked out the door with his house keys and cell phone.

His cell phone was precious to him. Mainly for the three numbers in it.

Matthew Williams, his older twin by ten minutes.

Doctor James Ignacio, Psychiatric therapist.

Emart. His part time job.

After that incident as a child, Alfred had changed. He not only lost the friends he had but he refused to acknowledge anyone around him. Or communicate much.

Alfred was fine with it. Not that he was lonely, it only made it easier to keep his cool and deal with his personal matters one step at a time.

After leaving his small yet moderate styled apartment, he rushed down and unlocked his bike, placing on his helmet, and pushed off to beat rush hour. The wind glided against his skin, making him get a chill slightly while his mind was stuck on thinking of a grocery list as well as what impudent classes he would have to suffer through today.

He passed by a multitude of students  heading into the gated university, Alfred glided on his bike, weaving though or past people before making it to the biking garage.

He started to lock it up when he heard some snickering and of course whispers. He could tell they were directed at him. Of course he felt uncomfortable so he gripped his back and briskly walked to the art education building.

As soon as he stepped in through the doors, he sighed and breathed in the paints, the smell of freshly baked pottery. The sound of brushes gliding or scraping against their blank canvases. When he walked to his corner. Where most of his works were sitting. Most didn't speak to him because he was labled as the weird emo kid.

Of course his art was rather morbid. And somewhat too explicit. Especially the one he is working on currently. It is black in the background, but in the center is a smashed flower, bleeding blood from being trampled on.

Suddenly the professor of his painting class stepped in, with him following was a talk young man who had messy platinum blonde hair, his violet eyes that seemed so innocent and clear is what caught Alfred's attention.

Bdump.

Just who is this strange, yet beautiful creature before him? What was his name? Oh how Alfred yearned to know.
