~~warning: this is only a first draft so please excuse any mistakes, i know that this isnt exactly how the deep web works but i just wanted to write about it and yes I know there are no capital letters but despite that, I hope you enjoy chapter one of I don't know how many!~~
the alarm was a reminder to go to sleep rather than the usual, get up. the only source of light was the laptop screen which made its surroundings visible in the darkness, including the wide-eyed, pale-faced girl sitting in a corner of a bet drowning in pillows. you could tell she didn't sleep much; her eyes were blood shot red and her slowly closing eyelids were jerked back open again every once in a while. she wanted to sleep, but she knew she couldn't. the laptop was just giving her countless reasons to stay awake. 'you have a new message' or 'pay whatever a month to receive blah blah' etc.
after a while, she came across different websites. darker ones along with videos. she saw terrified reactions however, she just sat there blankly acknowledging every second until it was over. it was disgusting. she knew it was, but she couldn't resist the temptation of going deeper and deeper until... she hit something. 'the deep web' was displayed across the top of the web page. she was confused as to how she got there and what it was. Clicking off the page, a noise alerted her along with a notification stating that there was a problem and to try again later on. she was used to this occurring so she thought nothing of it. the page appeared on the screen again a few minutes later so she tried again. she directed the mouse to the x at the corner but she somehow lost control of it and it moved to the opposite corner of the screen.
the notification appeared again. at this point, she had no tolerance so she tried for the third time. there was no notification. there was a message. she wasn't certain it was linked to this but that red notification circle made her heart race and her breath short. the decision shew made to ignore it aggravated something as the number of messages increased rapidly with the noise making her squirm around holding her head and ears in her hands. she slammed the laptop closed. all that was heard was a significant ringing that was that painful it brought tears to her eyes.
she opened the laptop and opened the messages. ' you can't leave ' is all that was said continuously with no ending
