the park was in sight up ahead - her mind was flooded with everything that happened in this town, some of which took years to forget but now her effort was all for nothing.

'i cant wait for another 4 years in therapy! thanks a lot, bastard!' she mumbled to herself, knowing it might be true even if it was initially sarcasm. one leg after another, she got out of the car and walked along the metal fances hugging the park, hitting it with a stick like she used to do as a kid. she smiled, but it soon turned into a frown when she realised that that was all gone. ski and emerly, emerly and ski. the best of friends that were just a memory now.

she proceeded her tracks, forgetting the soppy stories her mind was telling her. her hand pushed against the gate as little as possible avoiding loud noises and her legs sped walked down the smooth path. 45 steps forward, 100 steps right. she remembered so clearly as if she had read those measurements over 1000 times a day since then. the tree, the sign, the den. she was there. her head ducked down as she entered practically her second home.

'hello, pretty thing. you remembering much? i am... i remember everything' a voice said behind her. she jumped and turned to the degrees the sound was coming from from where she was standing that moment.

'what? ugh nevermind - so...the deal?' she said with no interest in her tone.

'well about that, child. ive decided to make things a lot...more...interesting!' before she could reply, a torch was turned on. it was in the hands of a tall dark figure with a mask on - from what she could see. the light moved to what she could only make out as emerlys parents, tied up and gaged.

'oh my god! what did he do to you?!' she wailed while running over to attempt to help.

'stop right there. dont get any closer or youre dead' she said standing over intimedantly.

'no no, this was not the deal! let em go you----' she cried trying to budge him out the way but he counteracted and grabbed her with his hand covering her mouth. her heart reaced as the three muffled screamers cried until their ordered silence. he moved himself closer to her ear and whispered.

'now, youre gonna kill them...or else' he said easily releasing the suction between his hand and her mouth.

'or else what?'

'oh youre curious now eh? no more little miss fiesty'
