~chapter two~

She couldn't understand if this was real or if this is karma for not sleeping more than 5 minutes a day but she was willing to go along. sat there on her bed with a lump in her throat, the realisation of how this could end up brushed up against her but never again. she just thought about it for a minute when she was interrupted by her phone light next to her. she had a new message which ordered her to open her bedroom door. as hesitant as she was, she tiptoed up to the door and put her ear up against it keeping hold of the handle worried that someone was on the other side.

she swung it open and screamed while attempting to do karate moves she had learnt as a 3-year-old hoping that it would do some damage or no one was there so she wouldn't die of embarrassment. there was no one there. just a letter in an envelope with a suspicious red stain on it. she picked it up and tried to read the messy handwriting.

" hello you,

you recently entered a web page called the deep web, yes? well, you see.... that's bad. you are now one of the billions of people who could die right this second! how exciting!  and there's no way to exit the page whatsoever! anyway, do be careful because you never know who's watching...

there's no good way to end this so I'm going to have to tell it straight to ya, you're gonna die!-

the letter was signed with a red mark that was on the envelope. she quivered in worry. she muttered to herself 'what have I done' as she eagerly checked outside her bedroom window. she was on edge so much she thought she was going to fall off it, metaphorically of course unless this guy took her to a cliff or something. she crawled back into her corner and surveyed the room for any more strange things. all that was on her mind was that psychopathic letter written by a complete psychopath who belongs in a mental asylum!

she opened her laptop. he was right, there was no way of getting away from this now, she thought to herself.
