he gave two choices. either she killed emerly's parents, or everyone will be killed. as he explained this, he pointed the torch to a tree behind them. it was her parents, he was telling the truth not just scaring me to do things he wanted.

'well, there is an extra space ski, just the right size to squeeze you in, we wouldn't wanna leave you out would we?' she said with his teeth grinding against each other in frustration that ski was taking too long to decide. he walked up close to her again as of before and screamed in her face.

'will you hurry up! stop wasting my time!' his teeth were still gritting, she reckoned that he would turn them into sawdust if he kept that up. he stepped away and dug a hole in the ground. she was utterly confused as to why he was doing that but eventually, she recognised his tool. it was the shovel that em had described to her. the rust and the red handle reminded her of her sobbing. her relieved face when she saw her at her door. now she felt as guilty as ever. who would want to do such a thing to someones parents. she knew thats how he wanted her to feel - to get the perfect reaction.

he kept digging until she spotted  a white plastic bag surrounded by the dirt. he shook it off and handed it to her. she glanced inside and put her hand up to her mouth, covering it in complete shock. no matter how guilty she was, she wasnt gonna let that happen to her parents. the man walked away and sat on a large tree stump that once had a swing. she remembered that too. for gods sake she remembered everything, it was just to hard to admit it. then she realised thats why he brought her there. perfect place, perfect reaction, perfect kill.

' somethings missing...hmmm thats it, popcorn! we wouldn't wanna waste the best show in town, would we?' he said like the crazy bastard he was. she heard both parents crying through the socks shoved down their throats. one didn't want to burn alive and the other didn't want a murderer for a daughter. ski's parents sounded more furious than frightened, which was expected but unexpected at the same time.

' oh come on! don't ruin my fun, you know what will happen if you do'

she now had a lump in her throat that would no go away no matter how much effort was put into it. she grabbed the lighter fluids and matches that were in the bag. her lips crushed together praying that it would help the crying but it didn't - guess it just made the show even better.
