Chapter 10

I opened my eyes with difficulty from the light shining from what seemed to be a small hole in the garage. Eliot was sound asleep on the floor, not wanting to leave me.

"He sleeps like an angel." I thought to my self. But then I remembered what he made me go through.

"His mother is not his responsibility! She could just call the cops and divorce his mentally-ill father!" I thought to myself.

I decided to escape. I know Eliot means no harm and he wants to protect his mother, but he still broke me to pieces. He still poisoned me, and the venom and pain will always ache.

I tried cutting the rope open with a nail not completely hammered in the chair.

I heard Mr. Wilson come in, and closed my eyes as if I was asleep.

"Eliot has been doing a great job making sure she doesn't escape, eh Steve." He started laughing.

I was distraught. All the things he said were all lies. He did not stay with me all night to protect me or to show me how much he loves me, he was keeping guard. Making sure I did not escape.

"Well Steve. You got that prick?" Mr. Wilson asked.

"Yes! You should of seen the look on his wife and his daughter. Didn't he only have one child by the way?" Steve answered.

"Might be adopted."

My heart stopped beating. Father?

Mr. Wilson and Steve left. I tried to free myself not being aware that the nail that was ripping my skin. Tears fell as I tried to free myself. Hours passed by.

Then, I was suddenly free. The rope was cut open. I looked behind and I saw Eliot crying with a knife.

"Go. Save you mother and sister. Your father is probably long dead. Here is the key to the trunk. GO! RUN!"

I ran. Opened the truck and began driving. I was scared. I did not know how to drive but most importantly I did not know where to drive. I found a phone. I called Alexis.

"PICK UP! PICK UP" I said to myself.

"H.. Hello?"

"Alex! Its me Sonny"

"S..Sonny?" I heard her crying. "Where have you been? Your dad is gone and your mom had a deadly stroke. Please come back. Please your mother needs you and I need you." She said crying even more.

"Listen to me. Dad is dead. I have been abducted by Eliot's family on that date we had. I am coming as soon as I can. Where are you?"

"He.. He's dead?" She said in shock.

"I will tell you everything later. Just please tell me where you are."

"The Florida Hospital" I heard some muttering. Then, "WHAT!! No. No NO! SHE CANT BE GONE! NO"

The phone fell from my hand.

"Mom?" I said to myself, as boiling tears dripped
