What in the world just happened I thought. After the whole courtroom thing, I was taken to a large office-type room and given paperwork. The headset I had on had a microphone on it, and there was a speaker floating next to me. "What do I do with this?" I asked. "Would your highness like me to translate it into your language?" Asked the man next to me. Your highness? What is he talking about?
"Excuse me, but could you tell me where I am, how I got here, and what is going on?'' I asked the man.
"As you wish. You are on the planet 'Mars', the name commonly know by Earth. You were teleported here. Our king is very ill and we were searching for his eldest daughter, the heir to the throne. We had found something odd on your planet, so we went to go investigate. We found you. We had your background investigated, and we found that you are the rightful heir to the throne." He looked very serious when he said that.
"Well then, please tell me your name, so that I know who to call if I need help." I said in a commanding voice. This is going to be fun.
"My name is Anisala Vinequince."
"Ok, thank you. Would you mind if I called you Ani?" I asked.
"If that is what your highness wishes, then so be it." He said. "Would your highness like me to show her around her palace? The palace has many rooms, as well as it being 20 stories high. I wouldn't like your highness to get lost." He said.
"Sure! That would be fantastic!" I said with joy. "First, you should probably change into something decent. I will call your maids." Ani said. He called the maids, and I was put into the death chamber once more. This time I came out with a shiny black dress. It was so much more comfortable than that skin-tight silver one. I had on black pearls, as well as a black veil. My hair was in a very complex looking bun with braids surrounding it. I put the veil back, so it wouldn't be in my face, and one of the maids put my crown onto my head.
I went out to Ani, and we left. He showed me all of the rooms, and then we went back to my room. It had a huge, round, bed, and the bed had soft sheets. The curtains were made of soft, shiny fabric, and so were the sheets on the bed. I had my own chamber of death in my room.
I sat down on a chair, and I sunk in to it. It was so soft. Suddenly, a man came through the door. He said that I was being called by the king.
"What am I to do in the presence of the king?" I asked.
"Do what he tells you to, and do not disobey him. That's all you need to know." He said. He took me by the wrist and was dragging me down the hall when I said, "Why are you holding my wrist, sir?" He replied with a "Tch" and we kept going.
Once we got to the room, he opened the door, and I went inside. "Come here, child." The king said with a gentle, friendly voice. "There is no reason to be afraid."
I followed his request and walked over to him. "You have something on your mind. Speak." He said.
"Why am I here? I feel as though I was kidnapped. I'm scared, confused, and tired." I said.
"Don't be alarmed. You are safe. What is your name, child?"
"Moira, your highness." I replied. He gestured for me to sit on a chair next to his bed.
