Day Out

Today was the one-month anniversary of our wedding, and Mini wanted to take me out on the town to explore.

We left shortly after breakfast. He said we should walk around, so we walked all the way into town. It wasn't that long of a walk, and I was thankful. I'm not one for walking.

I decided to leave my crown back at the palace. I couldn't have it stolen. That would be irresponsible. I was wearing a casual dress and flats. Ni jewelry at all. Makeup consisting of a little bit of concealer.

Mini, on the other hand, was wearing his normal get-up. He looked way too flashy, and it was kind of annoying. He had his hair all fixed up as well.

"I know a great place we can stop for lunch later!" He said with a smile.

"Ok, we can go there for lunch."

"Yay!"

We walked around until we came to this electronics store. We walked in, and I saw the most amazing things I'd ever seen. It was a little shop, but it had a lot in it. It was so beautiful that I almost started crying. I love electronics, if you couldn't tell.

We walked over to the little shop next to it. It was a gaming shop. We ended up buying about five multiplayer games, and about ten single player games. We had a game console back at the palace that Garnia had given us as a wedding present.

The next shop we walked into was a spice shop. It smelled really nice in there.

Time flew by, and, before we knew it, it was lunchtime. We stopped at a little human-themed cafe and ate there. I ordered a turkey sandwich and some orange juice. It was comfort food.

We payed for the food and left. The next shop we went to was a little clothing store. We went in, looked around, and left.

We then came to a jewelry store. I wanted to bypass it, but Mini wanted to go inside. We went in and right away I was recognized.

"You're queen Valinque, aren't you?" The lady asked. I nodded my head and she continued to ramble. I was starting to get a headache.

"Ma'am, I'm sorry to interrupt, but we have more places to go." Mini interrupted the lady. We went out of the store and he gave me a velvety box. It was about two inches tall. The sides were eight inches by eight inches. I opened it and there was a diamond necklace inside.

"I thought you might like it." He smiled.

"I do like it." I smiled back.
