My mind was at ease. I was ready for my wedding, so I decided to take a walk outside. The weather was nice. The sky was a beautiful shade of blue. As I was walking, I bumped into something. That something tuned out to be a someone. It was Ani.
"Ani? What are you doing out here?" I asked.
"I should be asking the same to you. What do you think you're doing out here? You'll get dirty."
"I'm fine. I won't get dirty. It's nice out here, and I thought it would be a shame to let the bad weather go to waste."
"May I escort you inside?"
I could tell he wasn't listening to me. I let him escort me inside, but it was more like he was dragging me. He seemed angry about something. When we got inside, I decided to ask him.
"You look upset. What's wrong?"
"It's nothing, your highness. I'm perfectly fine."
"I don't believe you. As your princess, I am going to ask you to tell me what's bothering you." He scowled.
"Yes, your highness. Shall we sit down?"
"Yes, please."
We sat down in the closest room. It took some convincing, but he finally told me what was bothering him.
"Today is the day of your wedding. I'm happy that the kingdom will get a new ruler, but I'm not happy for you. I know you're unsure as to whether or not you love him. I don't want you marrying him." He was very serious.
"Why not?" I asked.
"I've told you. I love you. There is no other reason for me to hold you back. But, I know there's nothing I can do about the wedding. I am the one who suggested it to your father when we found you. I'm also the one who made most of the arrangements for the wedding. That is all." He sat there silently after that. I didn't know what to say. He was the first person that was kind to me on this planet.
"I guess that's that, then. It's too late to change anything." I said. I looked at the clock on the wall.
"I have to go now. I don't want to be late." I gave him a kiss on the top of his head before I left.
I ran down the halls until I found the chapel-like room where they were holding the wedding. I went in and went to where I was supposed to go.
"Since the king has passed, you will walk up the aisle with Anisala." The wedding coordinator said.
"Y-yes ma'am."
The time had come. I was to be wed. Ani looked at me with a slight frown. He then put on a fake smile for the crowd. I could tell it was fake. I've seen his real smiles, and trust me. They're way better.
I saw Mini standing at the alter. The wedding followed the American wedding traditions. He was in a black tuxedo, I was in a white dress. My mother must have been into human culture, too.
We walked towards the alter. When we got there, Ani went to his assigned seat.

After the wedding, we went to our room. Mini looked at me with caring eyes, then back down at his ring.
"You need to get ready for your coronation, Mo. You have about two hours before you have to be there."
To be continued....
