Part 10

The lawn of the Payne household was practically swarmed with police cars when Cheryl pulled up in her luxurious Bentley a mere twenty minutes or so later, her face turning to a look of pure shock as she quickly parked up beside Liam's car before getting out. She shot a look into a backseat of one of the police cars, seeing JB sat there looking down the floor; pure rage taking over her as she made her way towards the front door.

"Excuse me ma'am." One of the officers went to stop Cheryl, who looked at him with a face like thunder.

"I'm Attorney Cheryl Cole; my daughter and fiancée are inside as his parents were watching her today – move the fuck out of my way." She bluntly spoke; the fact that she looked beyond furious being enough to frighten the young officer slightly, leading him to step aside. Cheryl stormed inside of the house, going straight to the kitchen where Derek was speaking with Liam, Karen, and Geoff; and where Sophia was sat on Liam's lap snuggled into him.

"Derek, what the fuck happened?" she burst out, capturing his attention.

"Chez, don't flip – you're pregnant." Derek warned straight away.

"Derek, he was here – he literally came here for Soph, and I can see that he assaulted poor Geoff and you want me to not flip? Too late for that; I cursed the whole way over-" she suddenly stopped when she saw the obvious bruises setting in on Sophia's arms, her face suddenly turning a new shade of red as a fresh wave of fury took over.

"Sophia, did he hurt you? Did your dad hurt you?" she asked. Sophia simply nodded, swallowing as she cuddled into Liam some more.

And that's when Cheryl lost it.

"Nah!" she burst out, spinning around on her heel before storming out. Derek told them all to stay put before following Cheryl, who had basically gone straight outside and straight up to the police car where JB was.

"Cheryl, calm down!" Derek told her.

"I fucking hate you, JB; I wish I had never fucking married you – first class prick!" Cheryl ignored Derek as she shouted complete abuse at JB, banging on the window while JB looked on with a horrified face as he'd never seen Cheryl so angry before in his life.

"Cheryl-" Derek tried to get through to her but she continued ignoring him, shouting at JB through the window.

"You put your fucking hands on my daughter; I hate you so much it's unreal – I hope you fucking die, I hate you, I fucking hate you; you selfish fucking coward!" she screamed at him, only to breathe out when Liam came rushing out to her, wrapping his arms around her as she tried her hardest not to start crying.

"He's not worth it anymore, Chez; he's not even worth it." He told her, hugging her into him while Derek breathed out and rubbed his head, telling one of the officers to go ahead and take JB to the police station.

"He fucking put his hands on, Sophia; he hurt Soph and I couldn't protect her." She finally began sobbing in Liam's arms, all of her anger just suddenly coming out in loud sobs as she buried her face into chest while his strong arms remained around her.

"Shh, he's gonna be out of our lives now, babe; just don't cry babe else you'll send yourself into-" he was trying to say before stopping when what he feared happen was happening...

She suddenly groaned in pain, placing her hand on her stomach as she gripped onto Liam.

"Derek, we need some help bro – call for help; she's hurting!" Liam began barking orders, leading Derek to quickly call for an ambulance before he then sent an officer inside to explain that Cheryl was going to the hospital.

All the whole Cheryl remained gripping onto Liam, contractions starting to rip through her as she cried her eyes out...
