Cheryl sighed slightly to herself as Sophia stood there holding the phone out, hardly wanting to speak to Tre right now after what had happened earlier and so was wondering why he was even calling her. She calmly took the phone out of her daughter's hand and instructed her to go back downstairs and sit with Austin, before she then lifted the phone to her ear and spoke,
"Hello?"
"Chez – erm, hi." Tre stuttered slightly, this being a clear indication that he was just as nervous as she was on the phone right now.
"Hi," she softly spoke before managing to find her voice properly, "What do you want?"
"I'm sorry about earlier, I didn't mean to – you know – attempt to kiss you." Tre apologized, speaking rather quickly as he was quite nervous. Cheryl sighed out, sitting down on the bed and running her fingers through her hair.
"I accept your apology," an awkward silence followed Cheryl's response before she then spoke again, "Listen, I have to go – but erm, just call the office if you need anything and Lily will transfer your call and all that."
"Oh right," Tre sighed slightly, "Erm, I'm sorry again, Chez; and tell Liam I'm sorry for disrespecting you guys' relationship – I'll speak to you later."
Cheryl simply hung up and tossed her phone aside, running her hands up and down her face before looking up at Liam. She stood up and wrapped her arms around him, hugging him tightly as he kissed the top of her head.
"Do you think we can just take the kids and run off and elope and forget about everything for a second?" she mumbled, causing Liam to chuckle as he kissed her head.
"Believe me, that's certainly tempting," he cuddled her tightly, "I hate to add more stress to your plate, but don't you have a meeting tomorrow with the board to discuss that job offer that we keep forgetting about?"
"Aw God why did you have to say that?" she whined, burying her face into his chest more. She had completely forgotten about the fact that she had a meeting with the board that was offering her and Garry an amazing job that would send them to America and Ireland. There were still a lot of conversations that need to be had, and tomorrow's meeting would have to do with a plan that the board had, as well as discussions about Cheryl and Garry's salaries and what they would be if they went ahead with this.
"It is September now, Chez; January will be here before we know it and we'll have to make some decisions." Liam told her, stroking his fingers up and down her back.
"I know, but it's very scary – like scarier than any decision I've ever made in my life and I'm not sure if I'm ready," she lifted her head from his chest, "Whatever decision we make, we're in this together, yeah? If by some chance, we decide to go global, you won't hate me for taking you away from your family – will you?"
"Ask me a stupid question like that again and I'll tickle you within an inch of your life," Liam smirked, "I love you, and if we go global, it'll be we – you're not in this alone; sometimes we need new adventures in life and we need changes; all that matters is that we'll have each other."
"So just to be sure – you really won't hate me?" she asked again after simply staring up at him, only to start squealing with laughter when he suddenly tackled her town onto their bed and began tickling her like crazy.
"Stop asking me silly questions dork," he then leaned down and repeatedly kissed her cheek whilst she kept laughing away, "I love you, and we're in this together – I'll never hate you, never ever."
"Good, because I love you a lot Payno." She smirked, leaning up on her elbows as she tried to catch her breath. She giggled as he leaned down and kissed her lips a couple times, both times leaving his lips on hers a little longer before pulling away.
