Saman slept crying.
The next morning when she came out of her room the state of her gathered pity from Heera and Asher.
But Shafiq continued with what he said last night.
And the breakfast table where the everyday scenario was chatters and plans for day, now fell silent.
Saman continued her arrogant attitude. But her knew that this was hurting her parents.
While having his food Shafiq said, "I thought all night about your decision Saman. This is still inappropriate for me. I won't allow my daughter to work".
"Abba my decision is final I am going to follow what my heart says. Sorry to hurt you but this is injustice. I have got a call last night for tuitoring and they are paying me well.."
"O that means you are not going to obey me?"
Shafiq voice raised.
Saman held her head down to avoid eye contact with her dad.
"I should consider it as NO. So I am challenging you, that you do you want to do with your life we both are not responsible for anything in your life. It's your life so do what hell you wanna make out of your life, but if something bad happens in your life you will never come back to us, As far as I can predict you won't do anything".
Saman was broken by Shafiq's words but still managed to answer,"Abba I won't regret and I shall prove you that I won't make my life a HELL and you wil be proud by having me as your daughter".
Today Saman not only had a mission but also had a challenge to prove herself and her parents' that she is not mere an average girl with an ordinary dreams.
