Roses POV

We pulled up In front of the decrepit house Louis claimed Niall was living in, without hesitation I briskly jumped out the car and ran towards my brothers front door.

After two knocks, the door swung open, displaying a shirtless niall with messy hair. My arms wrapped around his bare torso, pressing my chin against his chest. His lengthy arms slowly mimicked my actions, sneaking around my small figure, holding me there.

"Hey Rosie posie" he mumbled into my hair, his Irish accent still evident in his tone. Sadly after moving to America, my own accent began to fade away so it's hardly heard nowadays.

A incompetent cough from Louis disturbed our display of affection, compelling us to pull apart from our embrace.

"Oh hey lou didn't see ya there!" My brother chirped.

"Uh yeah hey nialler" Louis replied.

"So what brings the two lovebirds hear?"

I gagged at niall calling us 'lovebirds'.

"Trust me niall we're far from it!" I said a little to harshly, I watched Louis' face drop slightly and nialls brows furrow in confusion.

Pushing past the two dazed boys, I strutted into my brothers home.

His house was well furnished, two distressed looking couches with a oak coffee table separating them.

I wandered my way over to the couch, floundering onto it whilst doing so. Shortly after the two boys followed my footsteps, sitting on the opposite couch.

We sat in silence for a minute or two until niall decided to break it.

"So how've you been sis?" He questioned, flashing a grin.

"Fine I guess"

Another silence led my eyes to focus on the small piece of thread niall was picking at from his jogger that adorned his lower half.

"Not to be rude but why are you here?"

"Louis wants me to trust him"

"And...." Niall said, edging me to go further I to my explanation.

"And I said if her take me to you I'll think about it" I knew my uncivilised manners were creating an awkward tension but I didn't care.

Me and niall continued to banter, the mood lighting once he cracked a few jokes. Louis stayed completely silence, only letting a few chuckles pass his lips at nialls jokes.

"Look I'm sorry to interrupt your sibling bond but it's already six and I didn't think we'd be here for so long so it's time me and rose depart" Louis said after his hours of silence.

I groaned at him, ignoring his attempts to leave. Niall was oblivious to the fact I did t want to go though.

"Alright then mate well i was gonna pop to the bar with a couple of the lads so good timing 'eh"

I scoffed at his unawareness and stood up, brushing myself down.

"Let's do it again yeah?" Niall said hugging me one more time.

My eyes directed to Louis waiting for his answer, he was the one who would probably decide.

"Uh yeah yeah of course see ya mate" he mumbled, bumping nialls fist then grabbing my wrist and tugging me away.

"Bye!" I called one more time before swiftly hopping into the passengers seat.

The ride home was quiet, occasionally I would flicker my eyes over to Louis, watching him concentrate on the road but only to snap them somewhere else and blush madly once i was caught.

"Thank you Louis" I said disturbing our quiet aura.

"What?"

"Thank you for taking me to nialls I appreciate it a lot"

"Anything for my princess"

Silence again.

"Do you trust me now?" He asked, hope laced in his voice.

"I-I don't know a little I guess but you still have work to do if you want to earn all of it" I answered as we pulled up the driveway of the orphanage.

Once he parked the car, he lent over, chapped lips meeting my cheek before replying.

"That's all I need to know princess"
