Rose's POV

After 10 minutes of watching random suitcases slowly go around the conveyer belt my two finally appeared. I stumbled back as I pulled them off. Stumbling a little.

I rolled my suitcases out of the airport enjoying the fresh cool air as it hit my body. I waved my hand attracting attention to a near by taxi.

"Where to ma'am?" Asked the taxi man.

"Here" I said handing him the orphanages address on a crumpled piece of paper. Whilst reading the paper he rose up his eyebrows up soon knotting them together quickly when re-reading the note.

"Umm something wrong?" I cautiously asked. I did not expect this reaction in fact I didn't even expect a reaction!

"N-no it's just well are you sure you got the right adress?" What?

"Positive, I've lived there for 17 years!"I replied confidently.

"And how many years have you been gone?" He pushed, well this is quite annoying.

"2 why"I shot back, does he really need to know my life.

"I guess you haven't heard the news..." That sentence brought me back to normal.

"No what's happend..?"i asked slowly, it couldn't be that bad could it?

"Children...children have been vanishing from the house.Even the workers disappeared" my head was spinning, terrible thoughts flew through my mind.

"M-maybe they just went out and got lost" trying to state obvious answers yet in reality I knew I was only trying to calm myself down.

"Nope they all disappeared in the house, always at night" he sounded so shuttle and calm.

"What! No this can't be true!" I snapped, not wearing to believe him.

"But it is, the orphanage is now completely empty no ones dares to go In it" he continued.

"Then how do we know its empty?"

"It never makes a sound and the lights are never on, since it's past the woods people say that a crazed animal must of found its way in"

"I guess I will be the one to meet this 'crazed' animal"

"Look I really think you shouldn't go thr-"

"I want to go through with this."

The rest of the ride home was quite, only our steady breathing could be heard. My mind was buzzing with our conversation. Children can't just 'vanish' either that's a lie or I'm about to be the next victim.
