Unknown POV

I watched the young vampire with his little human toy. He chased her round the picnic bench, using his supernatural speed to finally hook his arms around her waist. My face scrunched up in disgust when a kiss was placed onto her cheek.

The couple were so unaware of my presence, I was lucky that louis was too distracted to catch my scent.

There playful banter was starting to bring bile to my throat, I concentrated on the girl, who I believes name is Rose. I was never keen on the name Rose not only because of the flower of love being a rose; she violated the name even more. I left my thoughts bringing muskeg back to concentrating on her, I used my individual power to conflict a pain into her, it's so strong you feel like your meeting a slow and painful death, but sadly for the victim you don't die.

I was pleased to hear a rewarding ear piercing scream enable from her throat, echoing around the quiet place. I laughed when louis' face flushed in a panic, his body dropping next to her shaking and screaming frame. I watched the couple very closely.

I stared at his face, a sudden anger gradually growing in the pit of my stomach. His blue eyes changing to green. That was his mate.

I growled, my powers growing with my anger. Tears poured effortfully from her eyes, i can't believe there're mates!

I listened to him beg and plead for her to keep calm, he was trying to comfort the pain inflicted girl, cradling her on his lap.

A happier thought popped into my head,I dropped the pain from her immediately. If they were mates then everything that happens to her will effect him big time, the worst thing for a vampire is for them to have there mate in pain, danger or dead.

He still looked so panicked. You wait Tomlinson the fun has only just begun.

Roses POV

The pain that was just coursing through my pain suddenly stopped. I felt my breathing even out again and my blurred vision clear, what was that? The pain was indescribable, I felt like I was being shot, stabbed, burnt and my limbs were being ripped of all at once. It's scary to think that the random pain I jut experienced made me feel like I was dying, like I wanted to die. But through that pain, I saw how loyal louis was, the whole time he was by my side trying to comfort me and even though I was in no state to reply he kept talking trying to help and keep me calm. He's perfect.

"Rose baby! are you ok? what was that? What do you need?" Louis rambled, squeezing my body tighter against his. The blue eyes I loved had turned to a type of unnatural emerald green, his hair was messy probably from running his hands through it to much.

"I'm ok" I attempted to say but it came out more like a strangled sob. He placed his soft lips against my forehead, rocking out bodies back and forth. His body didn't produce much heat but I felt warm inside. He always managed To give me some sort of warmth.

"Let's get you home, baby" he mumbled, pressing his lips to my head once more before picking up my body and carrying me down to the car. I studied his features, his eyes Turning slowly back to blue, what does green even mean?

"Lou" I whispered , my voice to horse from crying and screaming to talk properly. He turned his gaze to me, his concentrated features softened once we made eye contact.

"Yes baby?" The pet name he kept giving me made my face Heat up every time the simple word rolled smoothly off his tongue.

"What do green eyes mean?"i asked. He smiled at my questions, breaking out eyes contacts to look up. He let out a soft laugh, the sound making me smile with him, it was a sweet melody that I would have no problem listening to all day.

He looked back down at me, still smiling.

"Let's just say how much I love and care for you"
