'Woah,' whispered Josh, his girl voice more significant than ever now. 'This is so cool,' he breathed.
Tyler was happy he was so impressed, but wondered why he was. I mean, he had this tree house his whole life.
Josh stood next to the door, taking in the space curtains, star lights, glow in the dark stickers, space couch and astronaut figures on the Windows. Don't forget the dark blue space rug and lamp.
Josh didn't want to say too much, because he knew that people like Tyler didn't like all the attention on him, but simply nodded. 'Awesome treehouse,' he added quietly.
Tyler smiled, showing a dimple and squinty eyes. He said nothing; he didn't need to. Josh thought it was the prettiest sight he had ever seen.
They sat on the couch and talked about everything. Josh talked about how he had struggled with depression and contemplating suicide.
'I...I feel like everything in my brain has gone wrong and messed up ever since I started being a boy. Or, my parents great me like that anyway. It's like... like spiders crawled inside my brain and made themselves a home.' Josh turned the same as his hair and hid his sad face in his hands.
Tyler was stunned; he didn't realise anyone else felt like this. He thought it was because of what happened to Jay, and only he felt that.
'Me too,' whispered Tyler, and he told the story of his brother.
Josh held his face in his hands again, sniffling. 'I feel like- like sometimes I just want to die.' He stuttered.
Gently, Tyler took Josh's hands away from his face, wet with tears. 'Please don't take your life away from me,' he said, cupping a hand on Josh's cheek.
Josh was surprised at Tyler's sensitivity and smiled at him. He realised yet again how beautiful and attractive Tyler was, admiring every freckle, every fluffy strand of his brown hair. Josh leaned in, sliding his hand into Tyler's, and kissed gently and sweetly on his delicate lips.
Strangley, Tyler didn't jump back or pull away. In fact, he pulled Josh deeper into it, until his hands were resting on Josh's shoulders and Josh's hands were resting on his hips, kissing intensely and loving every moment of it.
