Tyler's legs ached and felt like they were bleeding from the inside, but he didn't stop. And he knew what he wanted to do. Nothing mattered anymore, the only reason he stayed alive was Josh. Maybe if he would go where Josh went. He hoped he would so he could see him again.

He was going so fast everything was blurry around him, and it didn't take long to get to the hill where Jay had seen the world one last time. He did not hesitate and immediately biked down the hill. As he gained speed he began to hum the song they had performed that last day in Cleveland; slowtown.

Hey, hey
Wouldn't it be great, great
If we could just lay down
And wake up in slowtown
Today, day I wanna go away, way
Cos things are too fast now
I wanna be in slowtown

Tyler's hums progressed into singing and then screaming the words as the world around him blurred and mushed into a grey slur.

The wall at the bottom was getting closer every second, and Tyler couldn't wait, but was slightly fearful. He remembered the blood and the pain when Jay hit it, and he didn't want to be in pain. Just for it to be quick.

Tyler screamed and screamed as he remembered Jay as he rolled down this hill for the last time.

We're going too fast, fast, save us
We're going to fast, fast, save us now

He sang these lyrics over and over, Tyler shed no tears as the wall got closer, and hit him extremely hard. He simply lay, body hunched over and bike half stuck in his side. He felt all his bones being crushed under an immense pressure, like everything had broken or he was hitting the wall a thousand times but he wasn't. He breathed in Jays flowers left at the bottom of the hill, and felt slightly eased despite the excruciating pain. Eventually he learnt to ignore the pain, and simply waited as he felt the blood seep out of him and his body go cold.

There Tyler lay, half dead and waiting to be reunited with Ruby. Was that their name? He couldn't remember now. Everything was all hazy now as his body grew colder and the world got darker and darker with every second. He just hoped the pain was over soon.
