Cooper's P.O.V.
"Whatchya doin Cooper Trooper?" I sighed as I put my phone on speaker and turned down the T.V. I had been watching Dr. Phil before Natasha called, the woman was claiming that she was pregnant even after the ultrasound proved wrong.
"Nothing much why?" In replied, walking into the kitchen to get a 'five star meal' of leftover nachos, picking up my phone on the way out of my room.
"Well you're not at school," she said sounding worried which sounded fake but that was just how she is.
"I'm sick." I said sniffing a bit.
"Sick!?" she screeched, "Homecoming is tomorrow night Coop!" she whined.
I inhaled "Oh yeah." I groaned "I don't know if I can come."
"Well, if you can't come I'm taking some one else." she said in a snobby tone.
"Wait, what Natasha no, you can't take another guy to homecoming," I said almost spitting out my food.
"Why not?" she asked, I hate it when she gets like this, acting like she's on top of the world.
"Um, hello! We're dating I'm Kinda your boyfriend!" I snapped.
There was a pause then panting making it sound like she was crying "Well, if you're not going to listen to me, and scream at me, and not be at the dance to support me then I don't think you should be my boyfriend anymore," She said through whines and over dramaticized gasps for air as she 'sobbed'. Then as if none of that had even happened she was fine and hung up with a "Bye Coop!"
I stood in the kitchen leaning against the island for a little. I mean I guess I felt sad but not really. I didn't really know. I guess I was upset at myself for not being sad?? I went up to my room and turned my T.V. back on, I don't even remember what was on but I went to my bed. After a few minute I was sound asleep which was weird since it usually took a while for me to fall asleep. In my dream I was in the auditorium. With Gabbi's band thing, everyone was there except...Natasha...I walk over to my guitar which is on it's stand and picked it up.
"Hey," I heard a voice say but, when I turned around no one was there.
When I woke up, it was Saturday, Homecoming day. I wouldn't have gone if I wasn't feeling better and the guys were expecting me to come. However, here I was. I decided to find something that purposefully didn't match the dress Natasha had planned to wear, in case she tried to get back together with me at the dance. I wore a teal suit with a white and black diamond patterned tie. When I got to the dance, I was a bit late I think it was a bit past fashionably late too, just an annoying late. I walked in with a sigh, still not too sure why I came.
