Cooper's P.O.V.
"I got a dress last night," Natasha said as we walked into class, we had all of our classes together except for one. This block scheduling was wearing me out. At my old school we didn't have them, just...I guess it would be normal schedules? Anyway Natasha pulled out her Iphone and showed me a picture of the shortish deep red dress. I nodded.
"Do you want me to wear a red suit or just tie?" I asked, knowing details mattered to her.
She put her phone away "Just the tie is fine," she said and I nodded.
Later that day, at lunch I was sitting with my friends, Sean, Evan, and my sister Jasmine and her friend Keylee. Keylee also happened to be Evan's sister.
Sean didn't seem too into the conversation today though, he was staring at Sammy, one of the girls who I think was friends with Gabbi. I went over to him and nudged him. He looked irritated at that though,"What the heck?" he asked and I pointed to Sammy with my head.
"Ask her," I said.
He made a face "Pffft, no, y-you mean to homecoming?" He asked then added "She probably already has a date-I can't."
At this point Evan had joined because he said, "You can," then Evan and I were pushing Sean over to Sammy who looked very very concerned. I was right. She is friends with Gabbi. Unfortunately though, because that meant at that table there was Gabbi, Amberly, Sammy, Bradley, and...Erica. She'd see me acting like an idiot...but then again it was for a friend so...I kept pushing Sean until he bumped into Sammy who gasped in shock.
"I'm sorry," Sean said backing up a bit as Evan and I went back to our table, Keylee and Jasmine were watching us, probably internally shaking their heads. I watched as Sammy talked with Sean for a few minutes. When Sean came back he had a goofy grin on his face.
"So....?" Jasmine said, breaking the unsettling silence, and don't get me wrong, silence can be A-okay sometimes but in this case his smile ruined it.
"Let's just say I have a date to homecoming," he said proudly. Evan and I high fived and finished eating out lunch.
At home I did my homework and messed with my guitar a bit. After, I was scrolling through facebook, I saw a facebook ad, the one that says "People you may know" To see none other than Erica. So, I spent about and hour or two, scrolling through her feed, looking at her pictures and just-everything. Well, that was um, my night...yay homecoming in less than a week, so excited...
