Matt ran a hand through his messy ginger hair. He sighed and started the coffee machine. It was a little loud, but that was okay. Edd was a very heavy sleeper. Matt leaned his hips against the counter. Their coffee-maker was slow. Matt decided to brush his teeth. He looked at himself in the mirror. He was a mess, but that was okay. He rubbed the bags under his eyes, lightening them a little. He widened his eyes, waking himself up more. 'You can do this.' He ushered himself out of the bathroom. Matt never slept. He heard Tom every night. He didn't let himself sleep. Last night he had finally made the decision to confront Tom. He didn't regret it, but he did regret not doing it sooner. He shouldn't have let Tom suffer alone for so long. The coffee was done. He poured Tom and him both a cup. He put only sugar in his, and put a small amount of both creamer and sugar in Tom's. Matt poured two shots of Smirnoff in Tom's coffee. Everybody needs a little something. The ginger smiled to himself as he grabbed a pink, cotton-candy sucker from the top shelf. That was his stash. No one else could reach it.

Tom looked up as Matt emerged through the door, shutting behind him as he moved his sucker around in his mouth. Matt smiled at Tom as he gave him his coffee. Tom held the coffee tight, with both hands. He was still shaking. He could smell the alcohol in the cup below his face. His face got warmer by the second; it was almost pure crimson by the time Matt had looked up at him. Tom had a smile on his face. Matt knew Tom a lot more than the brunette thought. Matt saw Tom's smile and almost fell off the bed. He had never seen anything as cute as this sassy alcoholic. His eyes would have had stars in them if he were an animated character. Damn, he was in love. He was so in love. Tom had looked over at Matt, because he had made a noise and he jumped. Matt was staring right at Tom, with pure love in his eyes. Tom snorted and it brought Matt back into reality. Matt shook his head and accidentally made eye contact with Tom for at least ten seconds longer than he should have.

Tom smiled and took Matt's hand. "You make me very happy." Matt's smile couldn't be bigger. He thought his face would break apart. Tom leaned up and connected their lips. Matt melted into the kiss. It was a perfect mix of coffee, toothpaste and alcohol.

~Time Skip to Noon~

Tom and Matt had fallen asleep again. They were cuddling when Edd went walking down the hallway. Edd saw no trace of Matt, in his room, or in the house alone. He didn't want to disturb Tom, but he was worried Matt may have gotten lost in a store or something.

"Tom, have you seen--" Edd turned his head as he opened the blue-hooded baristas door. Tom and Matt were almost completely enveloped into each other as they cuddled on Tom's bed. There weren't even any blankets on them. They were both in their hoodies, sweatpants and wore socks. Matt had two different coloured socks. Blue and purple. Edd smiled and quietly shut the door again. It was good he didn't wake them up. He wouldn't say a word. Matt had always gone to him and told him how in love he was with Tom. Edd encouraged him to ask Tom out, but Matt was always too anxious. Edd was proud of them. He went into the kitchen and started another pot of coffee.

The coffee maker woke Matt up. He wrapped himself around Tom even more. He could stay here all day. He would if he could, but he had to go to the mall with his sister, Matilda, and her girlfriend, Ell. (Oops.) He had to get up. "Tom," Matt spoke as quietly as possible. Tom didn't move. He didn't even make a noise. "Tom." Matt spoke a little louder and poked the brunettes nose. Tom grunted and peeled one of his eye-lids open. "Hm." It was more of a statement than it was a question, but Matt still answered. Tom pulled Matt closer to him. "I have to get up, Tom." Matt looked up at his cuddle-buddy. "Why?" Tom kept one eye open, and loomed it down to look at Matt. "I have to go to the mall with Matilda in a couple of hours." Tom grunted again and shut his eye. "I don't want you to leave me." A smile spread across Matt's face so wide, you could almost say it touched his ears. "You,, could come with me?" Matt turned his head and looked up at Tom. Tom opened both of his eyes and looked down at Matt. "No." "Pleeaase,," Matt practically begged Tom to come to the mall with him. "No way." Tom absolutely refused. "Come on! It'll be fun! Matilda is bringing Ell! It could be like a double date!" Tom groaned and eyed the ginger closely. He couldn't say no to that face. He reached down and kissed Matt's freckled nose. "Fine." Matt almost jumped out of the bed. He made an incoherent noise between a squeak, a squeal, and a yell. He was so excited that his face turned red and his hands started to lightly shake. Tom softly smiled down at Matt. He loved him.

Matt had not only convinced Tom to come to the mall with him, but he had also convinced him to let Matt do his make-up. Matt wore what he normally did; his purple hoodie, green overcoat, light skinny jeans, and mix-matched purple and green converse. Tom had to take a shower, and change into actual clothes. Tom didn't leave the house much. He was too sad. He didn't see any point in going out if he couldn't enjoy himself. Tom wore his blue hoodie, dark, ripped skinny jeans, and black and white checkered converse. Matt's make-up was far from simple. (If you don't approve of boys wearing make-up, I'm disappointed in you. Relax. They look cute and they're happy, okay? If you don't like it, skip over. I'm not going to deal with childish ranting because "make-up is for girls only".) He didn't need any foundation, but he added a little powder here and there, blush and light contouring, mascara and 10/10 wing-tipped eyeliner. Matt was the eyeliner jesus. He added cute lipstick and swiveled his attention to Tom. He didn't put much on Tom. Tom was okay with that. Matt had put very light contouring on Tom, soft, winged eyeliner, a light shade of blue eye-shadow, and not-so-shiny lip-gloss. Tom was surprised when he say himself in the mirror. He looked good. But not as good as Matt. Matt was gorgeous in and out of make-up. Tom was practically drooling over Matt, until he heard a car honk that snapped him out of his thoughts.

"Matilda and Ell are here!" Matt excitedly clapped and headed towards the door, practically dragging Tom with him. They both grabbed their phones from the kitchen counter and said good-bye to Edd. Edd was okay with them leaving. He wasn't lonely. He liked quiet, alone time. He liked the quiet house. He also liked not wearing pants. They wouldn't be gone long either way. They never are. Edd was glad that Tom was getting out. He was glad that Matt and Tom were getting closer and closer. He was glad that Matt was going to get Tom out of his depression.

He just hoped nothing would happen to them. Everything was perfect the way it was.

Don't worry guys, nothing is going to happen any time soon. It's okay c:
